This appealing hotel is situated in the southern quarter of Playa de las Américas, only 300 m from the beach and 5 minutes' walking distance from the main road with plenty of shops and restaurants. There is a public transport stop directly in front of the hotel. The Tenerife South Airport is around 18 km and the Tenerife North Airport 80 km away.

Facility

371 double rooms are located on 8 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car.     Cannot fault this hotel, beautiful room looking over the pool. Spotlessly clean and the air con was so quiet you would never know it was on. Breakfast was superb with a great choice for all tastes. Highly recommend the Vulcano.

    Great attention to sustainability

    This was my first time staying at this hotel and it exceeded my expectations. As a solo traveller, the hotel is very important to me so I booked the UP! Room which was amazing. I was on the 6th floor overlooking the main pool and the views were to die for. Check in was smooth and fast and I was offered a cava or a water and also invited to a 6 course dinner on the rooftop. My room was spacious and I loved the attention to sustainability with the reusable water bottle, tote bag and free toiletries. Each floor has a water cooler which was a brilliant idea and saves on single use plastic. The breakfast was up there with the best I’ve experienced and appreciated the freshly squeezed OJ, bagels and fresh avocado, something I’ve not seen in any other hotels. The Up! Rooftop was spacious, comfy beds and heated pool and jacuzzis. The all inclusive nature meant you could drink and eat all day from a brilliant range of food and drinks. The cocktails at the bar were delicious and all the food was very tasty. The hotel is in a great location, only 5 mins from the Safari centre and beach. My only negatives were the birds on the balcony. They seemed to be nesting in the plant boxes and were noisy but also left bird poo all over the balcony table and railings yuk. I also felt the room could have been a bit cleaner. There was a coffee drip on the skirting when I checked in which was very obvious but it wasn’t cleaned the whole time I was there. My floor also wasn’t swept for days . I would absolutely return and book the Up! Section again. Well done to the hotel for all the sustainability measures, you go above and beyond.

    Lovely establishment, but.............

    Lovely hotel, location was just right, room was stunning, cleanliness faultless, once inside, with the balcony doors closed, you could not hear a thing, great amenities, the food on offer was amazing. The only downside, every evening, once it started to get dark, the cockroaches appear on the balcony, so it was like a game of whack a mole, with me smashing them with a trainer to kill the things off

    Chilled relaxing holiday

    Great location, just back from the main strip so it wasn't noisy but only a few minutes walk from bars and restaurants. Chilled vibe, not much for kids to do. Breakfast is the star of the show, served 7.30 till 12 serves everything you can think of including full cooked with all the egg selection, pastries, salmon, caviar, fresh fruit, lots of tapas even fizzy wine with syrups! Cold and heated pools are salt instead of chlorine. Plenty of spare sun beds for April. Rooms are pretty basic but great shower. We couldn't have a late check out as other guests coming in but allowed to book the showers in spa which was useful. We would definitely return and try the UP if we come without children.
