  Great hotel

  This is our 2nd year of staying at sunwing and I love it. I had emailed in advance to ask for a specific are to stay and got exactly what we wanted. The rooms are amazing. So spacious and cleaned every day. The cleaners are so friendly and thorough. We dont go down to the pool but prefer the sun deck. Definitely be back next year. If I could make 1 suggestion is to put some chairs on the top deck. Noted that some elderley and not as mobile struggled to get on and off the loungers .   Great location, friendly staff and rooms a good size and well equipped. Our girls love the lollo and Bernie club and all the activities. The breakfast is also really good in terms of choice and quality.   Spotless hotel, great location

  We booked this as a 5 night trip for 2 couples. We usually book adult only hotels but we had a good deal so thought we would book. I emailed the hotel in advance and asked if we could have 2 rooms in close proximity and when we arrived the rooms were next door to each other. We booked b&b and had a studio apartment on the 4th floor. We were shocked at how spacious and nice the room was. There was plenty of wardrobe and storage space, bathroom was ample in size and the bedroom was split by a sliding glass door to what was a lounge/kitchen area. This was fully equipped with a settee, table, kitchen area to include full size fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and hob. Although we don’t use any of the kitchen utensils these were all spotlessly clean. In this area there was also a tv that you can connect your media devices too! The balcony was a good size with a table and four chairs overlooking the pool area but we found it didn’t really get the sun much. The room was provided with towels and also two large beach/pool towels that we used. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed apart from the night before we were leaving. There is also a safe in the room which is free of charge. If we had to make one criticism the shower could have been more powerful but everything else outweighed this. Breakfast there was plenty of choice with English breakfast, fruitCoffee, pastries etc. There is also an onsite supermarket. Pool area is very busy but we always managed to get a Sunbed and there are 2 sun decks that are adults only which is a bonus. We would definitely stay again at this hotel, it was spotless and the location is great too!   Cockroaches galore.

  Not sure where my review has gone but for some reason it’s been taken down. Not quite sure why. Didn’t think Tripadvisor was like that. It was an honest review of our experiance here. So we had cockroaches in our room pretty much our whole stay. We had to buy our own powder and spray as whatever the hotel done didn’t work. We had young kids. I get they’re in the canaries but this was excessive. Up the walls. Out of our 10 night stay we had around 15. The hotel didn’t seem to care. We reported it to them on multiple occasions. Not even a sorry. Would not recommend.   Positives - Location is perfect, close to bars, shops and restaurants and 2 minute walk to the beach. The Area is nice, no noise pollution from bars and felt really relaxed. Staff on reception were always pleasant and helpful, check in was smooth and quick. We stayed in a studio, I was quite impressed with the size it was really spacious and light. The room was quite modern, split in to two rooms with a sliding door inbetween for a separate living room area with a small kitchenette, sofa and tv. The bathroom was very modern and exceptionally clean. Lots of wardrobe space, and cabinets for storage in bedroom. We were on the 3rd floor but we didn't have a balcony we had a large terrace with a table and 4 chairs. Pool area is nice and clean, lifeguard always watching and making sure everyone is okay. The pool is a nice size and temperature and very clean. We stayed bed&breakfast, the breakfast was good, always hot and varied. On site shop is handy and reasonably priced. Late checkout is available as we had a late flight so paid for this. There is entertainment for children during the day, water aerobics, polo etc. On each side of the hotel there is a sun deck for adults with loungers and showers, it was quieter up there as most families lay round the pool. This hotel is aimed towards families and is reasonably priced. Negatives - Sunbeds are a nightmare, there are signs saying you can't reserve with towels or they will be removed but this never happened. People reserved sunbeds and were missing for hours it was quite annoying. We had a late flight so asked for late checkout if possible otherwise we'd have to vacate the room at 1200. Late checkout until 3pm was €55 and until 6pm was €75. We found this quite expensive compared to other hotels. There is not enough space in the restaurant, trying to find a clean table for breakfast was a pain and people were wondering around plates of food trying to find somewhere to sit, there doesn't seem to be enough seating for the amount of guests. The walls are like tissue paper, it sounded like we had a heard of elephants above us stomping around, I can sleep through anything so this didn't bother us but if you're a light sleeper this might bother you😂.
