    Great value, good hotel

    Stayed here for the weekend, short break. You get what you pay for and we were more than pleased .The hotel is a little tired, but other than that no complaints at all. Super clean, good sized room and bathroom, small balcony to sit out side. A communal room if required, with fridge freezer, microwave, kettle. We didn't use.Small shop across the road for provisions, lots if eateries next door and down the road.A great position 5 to 10 minutes walk to everything at the most . Little bars, mercadona, eateries, Bus station, African Market, big department stores, food oulets. Friendly staff . Definitely recommend.,a good place to stay, to rest, sleep, and shower, no taxis needed.Will definitely go again fir a short break.

    Not so large hotel in Santa Cruz centrally located very close to the Nuestra Senora de Africa market.The room was rather small having built-in wardrobe, TV, fancy colonial style bed and bathroom with shower and bidet. No fridge.There is a tiny balcony, which gives only space only for standing, but offers quite a good view over the city.The room lacked electrical sockets. I had to unplug lamp next to the bed to get a free one for phone charging.There are rooms, which has window to the street, which is rather busy and noisy, but I had no problem as I sleep with earplugs.Other side of hotel oversees yards and should be calm.There is 24 hours reception, so late arrival is possible. The day staff speaks very good English, while night-shift made me practice my basic Spanish.The hotel has free WiFi, but only on second floor, where is common area with sofa, table and chairs.700 meters to the Santa Cruz main bus station. 550 m to Mercadona, there is SuperDino in Nuestra Senora de Africa market in 200m. Lidl and Carrefour in 1.1 km.There is only one beach Playa Negro in Santa Cruz in 1.7 km from the hotel behind a lido Parque Marítimo César Manrique.But swimming is now allowed due to bad quality of water. So the options are the lido with 5€ entrance or take a bus 910 or drive to a beautiful beach of Playa de Las Teresitas.It takes about 40 minutes by bus to reach La Laguna, historical capital of Tenerife.

    I believe that the 3 star this hotel have , its an average between the 5 star service level that all the recepsionist deserves ( they were so nice , friendly and welcoming), with the 1 star the property its self deserves, as its old and in need of renovation as soon as possible. By the way the professionality and kind manners of the staff at the reception let me have a good stay in this hotel

    Nice hotel in a very good location, really close to the market, where you can eat delicious seafood and next to the market there is also a popular churreria and some little restaurants, where you can eat non-touristy food. The bus terminal and shopping street are also not far from the hotel. We stayed there twice, rooms were simple, but very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

    Unbeatable location close to bus terminal

    Don’t let the 2* put you off, it is indeed a 2 star building and rooms. But wow, so close to the bus terminal, the market of senora de Africa and the centre of Santa Cruz. Reasonably priced and ok if you are there for a day or two. Anything longer and you will find the bed uncomfortable. The receptionists are like security guards, they really protect guests. Some rooms face each other so your curtains have to stay drawn. Horror or horrors, my duvet had no cover so only a sheet separated me from the duvet. I would stay there again if my choices were limited. Amazing street food in the close by market.
