Poor meal choice and awful quality of the food, poor staff attitude!

    rating28 May 2026

First off this is a very clean, lovely equipped hotel, our room was very spacious and equipped, the supermarket next door was well stocked and fairly priced. Unfortunately that’s where its ends for me. Went 'all inclusive' only to find that the food was a very limited choice and completely inedible (We tried Lunch, Dinner, and breakfast). During the dinner break I complained about the quality and temperature of the food and was directed to the microwave to reheat it...The pool had a mild green tinge to it so was going no where near that.No entertainment at all.And finally the staff, no name tags except for one lovely lady who had started the week before. I engaged with two male staff at the 'buffet' who were really not interested in my complaints, and as said before was directed to the microwave. When we went to the front desk we were advised to take our concerns up with TUI and just fobbed off.We stayed one night and when we saw that breakfast was just as bad as the previous sittings took the decision to book into another hotel at our own cost for the remainder of our holiday.Personally I cannot recommend this place and advise all travellers to give it a very wide berth. It get two stars as it was clean.

    Perfectly Serviceable Family Hotel

    rating22 May 2026

Just concluding a weeks stay, as a family of four, with a 15 and 6 year old. The location is really lovely, and it’s a super quiet village like resort in Callao Salvaje. If however your requirements are greater than a few good restaurants and shops you may need to head out to one of the busy resort options such as Costa Adeje or Playa Las Americas, neither of which are our cup of tea. The hotel rooms themselves are super well equipped and modern apartments, not a bad thing to say about the standard. The atmosphere of the hotel was a little bit lacking, with just one night of entertainment (albeit it was a very fun Parrot Show!). It does mean that everywhere is deadly quiet from 9pm onwards, including the bars. Pools were excellent and clean and the Jacuzzi a great addition to warm up in between. A few annoying things that lost a star on the rating. Many reviews had previously referenced great TV Channel options with U.K. freeview. This is no longer the case and most channels are now blocked. There is not enough hot water for more than one person to have a hot shower. There was some really frustrating building works taking place on a plot adjacent to the hotel, and just above the beach. Giant JCB diggers were super loud throughout the day and no end in sight. The food was on the lower end of the scale for hotel buffet options, low quality and low temperature and as we were half board, it didn’t include a drink with your evening meal. We elected to eat out on 3 out of 7 nights. Here are some top tips and recommendations that made our holiday. Poul’s Auto was a really great Car Hire place in the town (the only one in fact). I was able to walk in and hire a VW for the day for €50 all in. Super laid back experience and no extra deposits required. Great food options out there. Steak 21, Tapas Boutique and La Palma for amazing Pizza. Stock up your fridge with water snacks and drinks from the nearby supermercardo. Very reasonably priced, compared to the hotel bar (we were half board). We will definitely be back again, it’s not 4 star luxury, and more akin to a no frills but good standard Center Parks stay, but based on the priced we paid it’s a good value for your next family break.

    3/5 great accommodation, poor food

    rating22 May 2026

Great location if you want to be a little out of the way and are happy to get busses/ taxis , nice quiet location, great bus service with stop to the side of the hotel. Close to a few small shops and restaurants, beach around a 20 minute walk from the hotel.Good atmosphere around the hotel, only entertainment on one night of the week though, and lady orders at the bar are 21:30 Rooms we’re great very clean , modern and spacious with kitchen area, toaster oven microwave, pans and cooking essentials were supplied which was helpful. Shower was good other than getting cold around tea time, small toiletries applied. Tv in room with some British channels which was good, iron and ironing board provided. Food was very poor, would recommend using this hotel for self catering only food was bland and very basic and repepetive, poor quality ingredients and lack of choice, lots of flies around landing on food. Nothing was fresh even the fruit. No fresh ice cream/ scoop area only tiny pots of shop bought ice cream available, very dissapointed with the food.Great drink selection both alcoholic and non alcoholic for all inclusive but pricey if you weren’t.

    English tv channels gone.

    rating18 May 2026

We have stayed at this hotel many times and love it there. Unfortunately when we went in May this year a lot of the English tv channels had disappeared. ITV, Channel 4 and 5 had all gone and we were told they had problems. I sent an email on return home asking if it would be restored by our next visit in September but told no it would not be available. Is this to save money?

    Nice hotel

    rating16 May 2026

Value for money. Lovely apartment and nice partial sea view. Exceptionally clean hotel.Building works across the road but not too invasive. Staff were nice, and food was generally good. Please put salt and pepper dishes on each table. No entertainment at night apart from a once a week parrot show. Lacking atmosphere. But good location for travelling north and inland.
