Location

This exclusive luxury hotel sits on a hillside in the enchanting Costa Adeje, with fabulous views over the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera. It is some 500 m from the El Duque beach and links to the public transport system, as well as a diversity of shops and entertainment venues. Reina Sofía International Airport is about 20 minutes away by car.

Facility

The 165 non-smoking rooms, including 26 suites and 91 double rooms, have a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. 43 villas/houses offer even more space and comfort. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service and a safe are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. The hotel offers plenty of activities and entertainment options, including an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including an à-la-carte restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet, a lunch à la carte and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    I went to the painting class in Vincci selection hotel with Monica. The class was well set up and perfect for amateur painters like myself. Monica was very kind and helpful. I found this class very relaxing and fun. Definitely recommend this.

    Nice hotel but was under the impression it was adults only. At breakfast it’s quite noisy with staff clearing and clanging where you can’t hear yourself think. Pool staff could be abit more attentive. Asked for glass if ice and had it slammed down in front of me as if f I was interrupting their day. 7 out of 10

    We travelled from the UK for some April sunshine and stayed five nights. La Plantacion exceeded my expectations. We booked through BA holidays. Don't worry about pre-booking a car transfer - a taxi costs 30-40 euros and takes about 30 mins. I had mentioned it was our anniversary in an email to the hotel when enquiring about taxis and was told on arrival we had been upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely surprise. The two concierges and all the reception staff we met during our stay (the whole team in fact) were charming and helpful. Our junior suite was wonderful (we'll definitely try to stretch to one when we return, which we will), Perhaps the only thing worth mentioning is that the coffee table was pretty worn and had a scorch mark on the surface (the fact that's the only fault I could find shows the room was of a really high standard). There was a kettle, Nespresso machine and pods, including decaff, coffee creamer, various teas (but no milk, only the aforementioned coffee creamer). A good quality hair dryer, iron and ironing board were provided. The products in the bathroom (powerful shower and big bath) were Clarins. We arrived late and paid for two nights' worth of buffet vouchers. I wasn't that impressed on the first night (the white fish in tomato sauce was dry after sitting out), but the following night was great so maybe it was just an unfortunate choice. We ate out at nearby La Caletta, a little harbour (6 euros in a taxi) and the reception staff gave us good recommendations and called taxis for us. On another evening, we walked the ten minutes down to the beach and the staff gave us clear directions. Even in April it's best to book restaurants, especially at the beach, and the staff were happy to help with that too. There were Pilates, yoga and aqua fitness sessions every day (the hotel group has an app so you can see what's on), the gym is well equipped with machines and dumbbells and the spa is wonderful. We paid for a pass which gave us two hours in the spa, which has a big outdoor pool and various showers, Jacuzzis, steam rooms and plunge pools, and a 40 minute back massage. We appreciated the water and teas and the big fluffy robes. There is a sauna in both changing rooms as well as showers which guests can use without charge. This is great if you have a later flight. Check out was a generous midday. The pool area was great and the buffet breakfast was impressive. We left feeling refreshed and will return.     I really enjoyed my stay as everything worked well and the staff were extremely helpful in all departments. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms which were cleaned well every day.
