  The curtains are not blackout curtains, and a significant amount of light still comes through. This made it difficult for me to sleep in the morning.Additionally, the pillows are very unsatisfactory—they are too soft and uncomfortable, and they almost block your ears completely.This is my third stay at Side Hotel, and unfortunately, it will also be my last.   Outstanding hotel in the centre of Hamburg

  This hotel is just opposite the oper in Hamburg in a very central location with access to railway, tube and bus services just a few steps away. If you want a hotel with spacious rooms, friendly staff and a superb breakfast in the centre of hamburg, this is it! The pool is large enough to swim in, which is a real plus. The sauna and steamroom are great too. I had the most amazing time staying in this hotel with my daughter exploring Hamburg. 100% recommendations! We will come back for sure!   Excellent hotel with great location

  Great experience with good service and nice rooms. We were 24 people on a business trip and the service when reserving the rooms and the on site service was excellent. Very nice rooms with a design twist that gives an extraordinary experience. Good breakfast with possibility to order omelettes and other egg dishes. Cozy bar. The location is good for the shopping area in downtown Hamburg, only five minutes walk from the Alster lake. Only one strange thing: the light in the bathroom was very hard to find this contact to switch off the light.   Poor, room too hot, noisy from lift, checkout online awful and printer on second floor did not work.

  Checking poor, no information provided about the hotel.As a lifetime platinum you normally get a room upgrade if available, no mention but given a room on the second floor beside the lift.   Excellent experience. Staff went out of their way for me. Getting a dress laundered for an event the next day. Exceptional service. Great rooms and breakfast was really lovely.
