    We have been before when it was Marola Portisin, we have always liked it , we are pensioners 81 and 79 we go out in the day and have meals out early evening and like to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and then watch BBC and iITV in the evening, afraid that is finished because Whala don't have them anymore, it really upset us and we will never return. If we had known we would never have booked thanks Jet 2 also sometimes the weather isn't always warm at night, they Jet2 could warn customers of this as we really missed our television which we always had before. Two very disappointed pensioners

    Relax week for our daughter before doing her exams

    Bad start to our holiday,left our bag in the taxi with all our passports and euros.the hotel reception were brilliant,they got straight on to the taxi company and after what seemed a life time our bag was returned to us although about 300 euros lighter, small price to pay for our passports back. The hotel was great though ,cleaned daily , the staff really friendly and accommodating. The pools were lovely,we only used the small pool cold when first got in but was nice the cool you off from the hot sun . A nice bar which catered for all our needs.     Nice little hotel just outside of the hustle and bustle

    Stayed here as a family of 4 for 1 week over the Easter holidays. Read some reviews about noise off road etc but can honestly say this didn’t bother us 1 bit. Could hear cars driving past but no drunks shouting or music blasting. The hotel was mainly family’s and couples. When we checked in there was a group of lads in front who where told by receptionist any noise late at night or girls back to rooms and you will be evicted straight away wich was nice to hear. We walked to all areas nearby with 2 children and it took us, 15 mins Américas, 20 mins cristianos, 10 mins la vista beach. There is a big supermarket at the end of the street wich is cheap with everything you will need. The rooms where basic but cleaned every day and had everything you will need ( the fridge was lovely and cold ) you are told you can’t take food and drinks to the pool but if you sit near the top pool nobody bothers you. There is 2 small pools the bigger 1 is heated. The pool bar is reasonable for food and drinks but remember to take your cup back or they charge extra €1 on top of your drink everytime. There is a sign on the bar explaining this but I put mine at the end of the bar and didn’t hand it back so was charged the extra until they realised what I was doing and I realised I was payin too much . ( I just assumed they would know so my own fault really and at €2.20 per beer I never really noticed ) overall was a lovely stay and can honestly say all staff were friendly and helpful.     We stayed here as a group. The hotel was lovely. Clean, tidy. The rooms were really spacious with a large balcony all overlooking a large pool area. Big bathroom. Whilst the hotel does back onto the road we experienced no noise from the road at all. Staff were really helpful and friendly throughout.     Went on a trip to Whala! Tenerife from the 8th-13th of march. Excellent hotel, clean, tidy, pool area has loads of sunbeds. Staff friendly. Around a 5 minute walk to the centre of las americas, a good walk though with plenty bars restaurants around the area also. Snack/ pool bar has a good choice also and very reasonably priced. Only issue would be that there is no air con in the room, rooms have a ceiling fan though.
