Standard 4 star. Disappointing breakfast. Car parking short distance away. LOVE TERUEL

    rating17 Apr 2026

Good 4 star hotel. Car parking a short distance from the hotel (19.50 per day). Lovely rooms - standard for 4 star, I guess. Disappointing breakfast, and one member of staff on reception was a bit lazy, in just sending us the main square for restaurants - the main square was unpleasant and touristy. We found our own great restaurants, plus one that the tourist officer rec. Fantastic time in Teruel - lovely spanish town with awesome architecture. C M, Otros at Hotel Reina Cristina, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We appreciate your kind words about our rooms and the beautiful city of Teruel. However, we regret that the breakfast did not meet your expectations. We continuously strive to enhance our offerings and your comments will be taken into account. Regarding the parking, we acknowledge its distance from the hotel and appreciate your understanding of our limited on-site availability. We hope to welcome you back in the future for an even better experience.Best regards,A. R. Customer service Dept.

    Fabulous hotel in Teruel

    rating17 May 2025

This is one of our favourite hotels to stay in when we travel down through Spain. It is immaculately clean and the rooms are beautifully finished . They have everything you need- plenty of plug sockets, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and hair dryer etc . Some rooms have balconies and some have terraces with sun beds and table and chairs. Fabulous views over the city. The staff are really welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Great breakfast! Good location and great view from the terrace room I had., but shop around for better and more cost effective options

    rating07 Jun 2023

The Hotel has Very Basic facilities - although relatively modernised it feels a tad grubby interior wise - very limited parking facilities on site - staff seemed a little belligerent and somewhat stand off-ish - no bar - no hotel restaurant per se - there are two linked cafe / barrestaurants with mediocre service and food to match - the main restaurant in the hotel is only for breakfast or group bookings - there is no tea / coffee facilities in the room - although there is a fridge which contained two small bottles of water - very basic complementary toiletries - 160€ for a duplex terrace room for one night - that didn't justify the cost - with no luxury that the price and the hotel rating I felt promised - rather disappointing fromwhat i thought it would provide from the description - shop around I feel there are far better options at a more reasonable cost. Norma A Customer Service, Other at Hotel Reina Cristina, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your comments and would like to address some of your concerns.Firstly, we'd like to clarify that the hotel does have a bar restaurant, "Portal de Guadalaviar," which is open to all hotel guests and external customers by reservation. This restaurant offers a variety of quality homemade dishes, and we regret that it did not meet your expectations.Regarding parking, we understand that our on-site parking has limited spaces, subject to availability. However, there are several alternative parking options within a short distance from the hotel in the city.We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the amenities in the room. We provide a welcome water bottle and basic complimentary toiletries. If you require additional amenities, our reception is at your disposal to provide more products. We regret if the overall experience fell short of your expectations, and we appreciate your insights as they help us enhance our services. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a more satisfying stay.Kind regards,Cynthia B.Customer Service

    rating06 Nov 2021

LOCATION-the hotel is located just on the outskirts of the old town and within easy walking distance of everywhere.STAFF-the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating and they spoke excellent EnglishFOOD-my wife and I had breakfast in the hotel and were very pleased with the selection available-especially as we are both vegetarian we were very well catered forBEDROOM-a lovely bedroom, very large, king-size bed and lovely ensuite bathroomPRICE/VALUE-it is certainly not the cheapest in the town but we were very pleased to pay £81 for the night-WIFI-excellent quality and strength Wi-Fi in the bedrooms-PARKING-unfortunately the hotel does not have any parking of its own -However there is a large underground municipal car park literally within four minutes walk which charged €15 for the whole day

Teruel in the time of the Coronavirus

    rating01 May 2020

We had to drive from southern Spain up through France to Eurotunnel during the Coronavirus lockdown. We were apprehensive, but very happy with how Hotel Reina Cristina staff managed the situation of social distancing etc. We were greeted in an efficient, friendly manner which put us instantly at ease. There was no food apart from breakfast on offer but the receptionist telephoned our take-away order through to a local restaurant and we had a good meal in the privacy of our room. Everything was spotlessly clean, well-appointed and comfortable. It would be a great place to stay in normal times, in the centre of the town, with lovely views of the old town. I can’t speak highly enough of the two receptionists, unfortunately don’t remember their names. ELIA BUEN, Otros at Hotel Reina Cristina, responded to this review Dear superpup,Thank you very much for your excellent review. I will pass it on to all our team and especially to our reception department. We hope you will visit us again very soon.Best regards.Soraya Ibáñez.
