    BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING!!!

    rating14 Jun 2026

BE AWARE BEFORE BOOKING!!!On June 6, my family stayed at this hotel in Toledo, Spain. We had two rooms: one for my father-in-law and another for my husband, our two-year-old son, and me.Shortly after checking in, we noticed that the air conditioning in my in-laws’ room was not working properly. They called the front desk to report the issue. A few minutes later, a man came to our room and stated that he was there to fix the AC. He said he had already been to my in-laws’ room and needed to check ours as well.At the time, I was changing my two-year-old son to go to the pool, and my husband was also in the room. The man spent approximately 10 minutes inside our room checking the AC and then left. We then went to the pool. When we returned, we discovered that our travel bag was missing. The bag contained all five of our passports, credit cards, and important travel documents. We searched everywhere and then went to the front desk to report it. We explained that the bag had been in the room before the man came to “fix” the AC.To our surprise, the front desk employee became very nervous and informed us that the hotel had not sent anyone to repair the AC because no maintenance staff was available at that time.We immediately called the police, and a report was filed. The most disturbing part is that the man who entered our room and robbed us in our presence knew our names and knew that there was an issue with the AC. The hotel later confirmed that he was captured on security cameras. The front desk employee also stated that she had seen this man walking around the lobby earlier that day wearing a uniform that did not belong to the hotel staff. She further stated that she had seen him on the hallway of our floor when she delivered our luggage to the room.Despite these alarming facts, the hotel’s response was limited to an apology and explanations for how the incident may have occurred. This was an extremely traumatic experience. Someone gained access to our room by pretending to be hotel staff, entered with complete confidence, and stole our belongings while we trusted that he was an authorized employee. Given the amount of information he had about us and our room, we genuinely believe this incident may have involved a serious security failure and potentially information that should never have been accessible to an outsider. We strongly encourage future guests to exercise extreme caution and protect their valuables at all times.

Highly Recommended in Toledo – Eurostars Buena Vista

    rating29 Oct 2025

We stayed at Eurostars Buena Vista Toledo, a large hotel located on the outskirts of the city, about a 15-minute drive from the historic center. The check-in process was somewhat lengthy, and parking is limited to a very tight underground garage but without extra charge. Our room was very spacious and fully functional, with a safe, kettle, minibar, French balcony, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was large, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower. The TV offered international channels, and the Wi-Fi was fast.Breakfast was good, and the hotel provided excellent value for money, but it should be heeded that prices vary significantly depending on booking dates. We would definitely return if in Toledo.

No pool in September - despite it being 28 degrees

    rating26 Sept 2025

We booked this hotel hoping for a peaceful weekend as we are also attending a wedding in Toledo. It’s currently 28degrees on 27 September and the pool area is CLOSED. Apparently it closed earlier this season - we are hugely disappointed after hoping to sit by the pool for a day - in fact, we only booked this hotel because of the pool. So now, we’re in hotel at least 50 min walk from Toledo and without a pool. So this review is really just a warning for anyone to whom a pool is important - beware- if you are looking for a pool, please don’t come to this hotel as they close it even when it’s 28 degrees outside.

Lovely hotel with a great pool area

    rating03 Aug 2025

The best thing about the hotel is the service from the always smiling staff and the pool area. From a 5 star hotel we would expect a bar service in the pool area. That can be improved. Another great think is there is a pool for children. It would be nice if the mothers used that pool with their babies. Could I suggest the hotel made rules about this? Otherwise everything are perfect and the hotel and especially the staff deserve a 5 star recommendation. The location is not close to the old city. But it’s about 10 euros in a taxi.

Stayed at this hotel for a night enroute from Santander to southern Spain . It was excellent from start to finish . Easy to find with great car parking a few minutes off the main route . The receptionist was lovely , friendly and helpful . Our room was huge and well equipped. We ate lunch and dinner in the bar restaurant. The service again was superb as was the food . The bar area is situated in a lovely part of the hotel . Breakfast again was excellent with a choice for everyone . We will definitely return
