  Almost faultless.

  Very well situated hotel, very close to the bus station and within easy walking distance of the six escalators that deposit you into Zocodover Square in the historic heart of Toledo.Our room was spacious and immaculate with a huge balcony and a view up to the Alcazaba.As the weather was poor we took advantage of the restaurant which offered excellent value, very good food and, despite being particularly busy, superb service.So why only ‘almost faultless’? The hotel fell down on two counts. It is not as well soundproofed as it might be and the car park is both exorbitant (€ 14 per night) and incredibly tight for those with anything other than a small vehicle.

  Good location with easy access to escalators to the town centre.Modern room with terrace and large bathroom.Staff very efficient with underground parking which is excellent at the temperature was 36 degrees.Breakfast was a very good selection with the usual continental and hot food.

  Modern hotel with a good location close to bus termini and the escalators that provide access to the old town. Check in was perfunctory and efficient with smiles and chats reserved for their French speaking coach tour clients. I made a reasonable complaint when checking out regarding the hotel room. The complaint was followed up in writing to the hotel and the booking company. I haven't even received an acknowledgement never mind an apology . The booking company tell me the hotel has failed to engage with them either. This is not a cheap hotel, its a 3* and higher standards would have been expected, particularly regarding room maintenance.Perhaps had the complaint been made in French it would be acted upon.

  Stayed 3 nights on a Leger Holidays tour.Room was ok. Had a safe (but it wasn't secured to the wall which makes it a bit pointless really) Mini bar/Fridge and hairdryer. Free air con that packed up on our last morning.Good spread at breakfast and although the restaurant gets crowded there is also an overflow room.The bad points: 1/. The cafe style bar area isn't really big enough for the size of the hotel, although there is a large lounge area adjacent to the Reception desk and entrance I always feel you lose a bit of atmosphere in these such areas.2/. We couldn't get cold water out of the basin mixer tap or the shower. It was hot water or nothing.3/. There was an Iron available on request but there appeared to be only one. So if a guest held onto it you had to go without.

  Extremely demeaning front desk staff

  I am not a guest at the hotel. This hotel is in a very inconvenient location outside Toledo. It is located in the university area. It was a very hot day (93 degrees fareheit). My husband and I got lost a bit and tried to find our bearing around the area by looking at the map. We saw the hotel next to us. Instead of looking at the map in open air under a hot day, we decided to walk into the hotel lobby to get some cool air while reviewing the map. To our surprise, an angry looking young black hair lady came to us in a very rude tone and asked us if we had a reservation. We told her that we did and we were not guests at the hotel but just want to get our things together. She was outrageous and raised her fingers pointing at us and spoke to us with a Spanish accent 'It is not possible for you to sit here if you are not a guest in a hotel'. She then asked us to leave and she returned to the reception area and started gossiping in Spanish This behavior of her was totally unexpected and unnecessary. It is not a type of normal customer service you would expect from a hotel. I would strongly urge the hotel management to look into the company policy and how their staff is treating potential customers and the public. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone if you have a choice.
