We have stayed at 3 hotels during a week exploring Spain's "Middle".Breakfast :No MuesliNo GranolaNo bowl of Vanilla / Plain YoghurtNo bespoke CoffeeAs a Group we were not allowed to use the Main Breakfast Restaurant. We were hidden away in a soulless room on the 1st Floor.And Breakfast only commenced @ 8.00am, not 7.30am. Our party was only 18 souls - perhaps 4 Tables worth.No Tissues in the Rooms.Oh and no Bar / Coffee facilities. Just a nasty machine, see Photograph.The Restaurant was rarely open.Fortunately Cambito (see separate Review) was just opposite and excellent.Oh, and a bus ride from the city centre.The good news :Very comfortable beds.Wonderful, double walk in Shower with 2 Shower Heads, a Dinner Plate and a smaller one on a wand. Both could be used separately.No doubt Cox & Kings had a discount, but we will not be returning.Hayling Seagoon

Dear Mr. Seagoon:We are sorry that your experience was not as positive as it should have been.Breakfast includes muesli and yogurts in various flavors. These are located next to the large windows of the Sala Ábside. This room, on the first floor, overlooks Toledo's old town and is one of the most beautiful in the hotel. Your group had breakfast there. The booking agency sets the start time for breakfast. If you request 7:30, it can be changed with advance notice.The Ábside restaurant is open for lunch daily and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Weekdays are open by appointment. Unfortunately, we do not have a bar, but thanks to our privileged location, you have several options in the surrounding area.We hope you enjoyed our beautiful city.Sincerely,Quality Department

Breakfast could be better.

This was booked for our group, so not my choice but we were mostly happy with it. I have only marked it down because the breakfast options were poor and we weren't impressed that the waiter in charge of the breakfast room our group was instructed to use was coughing constantly and handling the food! I felt he should have been masked for hygiene purposes if he felt well enough to be at work. Also the restaurant was never open for the duration of our stay although we learnt that was common for restaurants in Toledo. They typically open Thurs - Sun. Most odd considering the number of tourists around. Apart from restaurant issues the hotel itself was perfectly fine and although it's outside the walled city it's really not far to walk. It's an old building but quite modern inside.Very quiet and a comfy bed so we slept well.

Dear PearlThank you for taking a moment to review your experience at our establishment.You are right that the colleague should wear a mask if he is coughing, but he certainly was not sick, it is a seasonal allergy cough.Restaurant hours are Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. During the week they only open for dinners with prior reservation. A hotel with very few facilities

No bar No tea/coffee machine in roomNo view inner court yard scruffyNo poolTried to like this hotel but its a bit of a con to say it’s 4 star It has nice rooms that’s it.Staff not rude but not very friendly ether.This should be a really good hotel with a nice cocktail bar and other 4 star facilities.It has nice tables and soft chairs in a glassed sort of patio area but with no bar or a coffee shop what’s the point !

Worth every cent!

We picked this hotel as it seemed reasonable and good location. It exceeded our expectations! The shower was amazing, beds were comfy and black out shutters for complete rest. The staff were super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was amazing! This will most definitely be my go to hotel when I return to Toledo

Clean and comfortable

Stayed 1 night. Hotel is located on a busier street about 5 minutes walk outside the walls of Toledo and further to the main attractions. Rooms are clean and generally quiet, pretty basic but good and comfortable - we had to request the air conditioning to be turned on in the room. The underneath parking garage is a bit of a nightmare unless you have a very small car. Buffet breakfast is OK. Staff is friendly and helpful.
