    I wouldn't stay here.

    rating17 Apr 2026

This place stinks! Literally. The smell, I think it’s sewergas, hits you the minute you open the door to 207. Then as you ascend the steep stairs to the second level, it gets so bad that you feel nauseated. Rooms are small, with uncomfortable beds. We had rented a family room, thinking that we would have enough room for two couples, but that is not the case at all. When you enter the room, the double bed is right there, with very little floor space and a tiny half bath. Then you have to climb the stairs to the main bedroom, which does at least have a full bathroom, but very little room other than an alcove with a small couch. There was an outdoor space, but it was on the second floor, attached to the main bedroom, and surrounded by walls. Unfortunately for us, we had a 5 night non-refundable reservation. So in addition to having to lose the 1100.00 we had paid, we would have had to find alternate accommodation when it was in the middle of the Fallas festival. So we stayed, but I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. On the plus side, people at the desk were great, particularly Pablo, who really saved the day as we were departing. He remembered that we had stored my husband’s medication, which has to be refrigerated, in the office fridge (no fridges in the room). We would have forgotten it altogether. Location is also excellent, very close to the cathedral and the Plaza de la Virgen. There is a fantastic brunch place (The Brunch Corner) right around the corner. I would recommend that.

In the centre of the city but the mattress ruined the experience

    rating07 Jun 2025

Placed in the centre of the city near the squares hidden down a small corner. The reception was OK and the room basic though quiet. My main issue was the bed. This had been picked up by others. The mattress was thin and hard and you felt the frame underneath. There was a thin single pillow so I had to put a blanket underneath it. The cleaners didn't take the hint and find another pillow for my second night. They also took my used soap and didn't replace my shampoo. I knew there wasn't a breakfast room so I used next doors hostel but the choice was cake or cake. Disappointed overall

    Central, basic and comfortable hotel

    rating05 May 2025

Located in a short quiet pedestrianised street (with the occasional vehicle, this hotel is as central as possible. It is therefore close to numerous bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is attractive and basic but offers comfortable accommodation. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Do not go to this hotel

    rating28 Aug 2023

Woken up every morning EARLY to the sound of cleaners shouting outside my room, and constantly dragging heavy furniture along the floor repeatedly. Throwing bin bags up against my door. Unsure why this started so early as my room would not be turned until 4pm. Cleaners do not lock the doors after cleaning the room even though I specifically requested this. The walls are paper thin I could hear the people next to me dropping things on the floor, plugging their charger in, screaming at eachother. Absolutely impossible place to relax. Bedlam.

    Perfect location

    rating14 Jul 2023

Perfect location. A taxi from the airport cost us €20. 3 minute walk to get to the main square (playa virgen) where there’s a couple of bars but if you carry on walking through it leads to lots more. The hotel is clean and pretty. Our room had an upstairs bedroom too but the stairs were a little risky and I wouldn’t have liked my son to be with us but for us they were fine. Rooms are perfectly suited for what you need and you get shower gel etc included in the bathroom. Reception is available 24h a day and they are very helpful. People have said the hotel is noisy…I didn’t find it a problem at all. Beds are comfy. Only downside is the air con doesn’t quite work to its fullest and struggles to cool the room down as it is a big room. It didn’t hinder our sleep too much though and we soon got over it, just would’ve been a little bit better if it worked 100%. Definitely worth staying here though purely for the location and cleanliness of the hotel.
