Small hotel in a great location

    rating23 May 2026

We stayed four nights at Blanq Carmen Hotel. The hotel is small and fairly quiet, which we liked. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The location is very good, close to the old town, so most sights are within walking distance. It was also easy and affordable to get from the airport to the hotel with Bolt for under 20 euros. On the downside, the air conditioning blew quite strongly, and traffic noise could be clearly heard in the room. The elevator felt a bit unusual, as there were conflicting instructions about how many people it could carry. The breakfast was also fairly modest.Overall, a clean and well-located small hotel for a short city break

Very well run hotel, clean bright and spacious room

    rating08 Nov 2024

When we arrived at this hotel we were welcomed by Manuel and he was so helpful throughout our four day stay. We then got to our room and it was spacious, bright, clean and we loved it here. It was a brilliant standard at a reasonable rate. We then had the breakfast and it was amazing. Ines was super friendly and efficient and made excellent coffee. Great value for money and highly recommended. The location of the hotel was great for us. We did many walks and runs in the adjacent park and then in the evening we were right on the doorstep of the old town. If we came back to Valencia would definitely stay at Blanq again.

    Not the best

    rating24 Oct 2024

Only picked this hotel as it was where our family had chosen. We chose a room with a view, if you can call staring at a busy road and trees a view. I did not get to sleep until 04.00 , which was after an 05.00 wake up in England to start our journey, not what I needed, and then woken at 06.30. It is very noisy. The breakfast was a reasonable offering and considering what we had at our next 2 hotels was pretty good. Considering I pad for the most expensive room I think it was poor value for money.

    Good enough.

If you're looking for a peaceful stay at night, this hotel is not the right choice as it's very noisy, and you can hear every little thing. The pool hardly qualifies as such, but the staff were exceptionally helpful.Overall, it's an okay option for a few nights in Valencia.

    Nightmare

    rating17 Nov 2023

Stay away.. noise is a huge problem, no sleep here. Long tortures week of listening to traffic and endless sirens from the main road. Overpriced and no regard to customer complaints of noise. 😑 we asked to be moved but alas this was not possible. Health and safety issue. We returned home exhausted 😩. We bought ear plugs to try and sleep but still no rest. We had to pay up front on arrival but we had already paid for first night prior to arrival. A poor hotel. Don't be fooled by images of pool just a small jacuzzi but cold.. Stay away!!!!
