  My vacation was broken

  I paid in advance for 2 nights, but when I arrived they refused to check me in and never refunded my money. They had even given my room to another guest without notifying me in advance. This was a terrible experience, especially because I had to find another place to stay on a holiday, and it cost me several times more. Very unprofessional and unfair. I do not recommend this hostel to anyone.____Pagué por adelantado 2 noches, pero al llegar me negaron el check-in y nunca me devolvieron el dinero. Incluso le dieron mi habitación a otro huésped sin avisarme previamente. Fue una experiencia horrible, sobre todo porque tuve que buscar otro alojamiento en un día festivo, y me salió varias veces más caro. Muy poco profesional y injusto. No recomiendo este hostal a nadie.

  Amazing experience!Staff were so helpful. All spoke English and had recommendations of what to doVery chill vibes & Easy to meet people. Especially in the common area where people chill and cook!Very clean, rooms spacious, lovely big common area that you can easily work in all day.

  Everyone, at least once in their lives, should be able to connect with people from all over the world in a pleasment, welcoming, dynamic and stimulating environment. The Cantagua encapsulates all of this. Not only for this but also is important to mention the impeccable cleanliness and room service. The staff organizes many activities and get-togethers that are great for spending afternoons and evenings with friends. I might have something to complain about the guy snoring as I write this review, but that's the beauty of sleeping in a hostel.   Great hostel for a stay in Valencia

  Great experience in this hostel. The staff is friendly and always approachable, the beds are comfortable and clean (and have curtains which is very important), and the place itself is cozy and has its own vibe. As for the guests, I met only nice and open people in my few days there so it's easy to socialize if you want. Definitely would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Valencia.

  Great hostel and they make it easy to connect!

  The hostel is great in connecting everybody, because they have a group chat so it’s easier to connect with one another also they send recommendations in there so u know what there is happening in the city. Also they organize small dinners for a small price where everybody can meet. Around 8 in the morning the airco stops so it warmer in the room so u need to get the staff to turn it on again. And during the day it can get really hot in the common area unless u are oké with just sitting in front of a ventilator.. breakfast is really simple some slices of bread with jam/marmelade and 2 types of cereal so for me that would be something they could improve. But then again u can also make your own which is fine! Cause u can use the refrigerator and a basket to put your stuff in. Other then that I most definitely coming back here if I’m in Valencia.
