Clean basic accommodation in a great location

    rating21 Mar 2024

Basic but clean accommodation in a great location in Valencia old town. Local to the Market Hall and various tourist spots. They were kind enough to let us check in early. Breakfast was basic but helped us make an early start to seeing the beautiful city.

    Short last minute break

    rating02 Oct 2023

Like others who have been pleasantly surprised I almost cancelled when I read some of the reviews. Anyway here is my review good and bad.Positive - it is in a very central location, close to the market and lots of nice places to eat, and also well located within the old city. It is up a side road so not sure I would like to be arriving as a lone female in the dark. Our room was on the 4th floor, clean, comfortable bed and great shower. At first we thought there were no windows but then noticed that the mirror above the sink opened to become a window. Breakfast was simple but tasty, think toast, yoghurt juice and coffee - eggs if you asked. The roof terrace was nice, not fancy and we did use the jacuzzi - a great place to watch the sun go down. Towels changed daily and the room was spotless. Added bonus was a hairdryer which you don't get in some UK budget hotels, and water. The staff were friendly and helpful.Negative - as I said - not sure I would like to be there as a lone female due to the location up a side road. Overlooks some waste ground so not the prettiest street. The room was small but for a short stay it was fine - in this city there is so much to do you won't be spending much time there. It could have done with a little TLC but overall it didn't affect our stay. They advertise a late check out for a small fee however it was a definite no when we were there although the place didn't seem full. We were a little early and our room wasn't read yon arrival - but hey Valencia has loads of nice places to sit with a drink and watch the world go by so that is exactly what we did.Things I wish I had known - book the self check in 48 hours in advance - it saves the trek to the sister hotel to pick up the keys in the first place. Some of the complaints I have seen here don't really stack up - the staff not speaking English - its Spain - I don't expect them to - learn a few key phrases and you can get by.Overall - if you want somewhere reasonably priced, close to the city centre, that is just a place to sleep then this is your place. Would definitely stay again.Top tip - when heading out at night, turn left at the end of the road, there is a lovely square with plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk.

    Big surprise

    rating19 Aug 2022

I almost canceled my booking after reading the bad reviews, but I’m glad that I didn’t… because it was AN AMAZING experience, the room was super pretty and clean, the bed comfortable, the lady at the front desk was really nice, breakfast was simple but good and the location super centric. We will be booking again.

Accommodation in the middle of Valencia's old town

    rating11 Jul 2022

The accommodation is in the middle of the old city of Valencia. The rooms imitate the industrial style. The shower was in a room without a wall or curtain, so the room was quite damp after the shower. Towels were changed daily and beds were made. Air conditioning worked well. We were able to change the room, since the first room had a direct connection to the yard, where the very loud drilling work started.

    Cosy rooms Boleseria

    rating17 Jun 2022

Stayed here for 3 nights on a positive note excellent location.Arrived given door card to the smallest room I have ever stayed in with no window, could hardly walk round the bottom of the bed. Bathroom very tiny too. Went to reception stating I was unable to stay in the room, was told no other rooms when I said I felt claustrophobic in the room the receptionist then made a phone and there was a room available. It did have a window facing a brick wall, 2 showers in the room(not the bathroom) small bathroom. Concrete floor which you was unable to walk on in barefoot as it was so grubby. Also charged an extra 20 Euros per night. The whole place felt dirty the blind had holes in and would only partly open. This place requires a good clean, full overall bathroom tap leaked and some of the rooms making larger. Love Valencia but would never stay here again.
