Greatest possible Location in Valencia if you are a visitor, perfect public access, very clean, very safe, lovely staffs, very friendly and helpful 24/7, good breakfast with a great price of €5.90, friendly vibe in the lobby and communal areas, everyday activity, great access to shops, restaurants, bars, night life, and small supermarket immediately below the hotel, great balconies, no smoking rooms, good guests, i do recommend this place, 100% satisfaction guarantee. Thank you for all young and energetic and polite personnel whom they spoke perfect English as well.

THE WORST HOSTEL IN VALENCIA

Don't go to Home Youth Hostel Valencia if you don't want to have the worst hostel experience of your life. Dirty, smelly, uncomfortable, and unpleasant rooms. The bathrooms are just as bad. My roommates and I all felt the same way. There's no elevator, nor is there a suitable workspace. They did my laundry, ruined it, and discolored everything (nobody took responsibility). If you want to meet people, this isn't the place. Any other hostel in Valencia that's not part of their chain is better. I would never go back.

Excellent location smack in the historical city centre.This is not the slick corporate kind of hostel, but a very authentic one. The common kitchen/living room is three floors high with the bedrooms and bathrooms organized around it in three floors, but it is not noisy. The personnel is kind, helpful, and actively and successfully fosters the social life: daily free walking tours are provided, one night there was free sangria, another there was a soccer match and everyone was watching together (with free crisps and pop corn) etc. The hostel seems to attract well-behaved guests.Everything was always clean. The bedrooms without bunk beds are a refreshing change. The bathroom was very practical and spacious.

Breakfast was four euros and small (very basic) in case you need it. Otherwise great vibe at the hostel and easy to meet folks. The rooms were clean and shared bathrooms were nice. Location was near the historic core. Nothing above and beyond other hostels besides a great location in Valencia and easy to meet other people.
