    Overdelivering on efficiency and kindness

    I have read some comments, unflattering comments about this hotel and I want to share my families excellent experience with this hotel. First of all there are the hardworking but always welcoming staff and I say always because circumstances has made us stay here for a longer time. We are impressed with the efficient and deducted front and backroom staff and management and by the cleaning ladies and manager.And I am known to be a very criticalclient. IBIS Alfafar overdelivers at its level. Some guests expect a 5 star service but that is unrealistic and unfair. This Ibis does not pretent to be a five star hotel but its staff certainly earns a t shirt with 5 stars on it. I can not name one particular staff member as all of them have welcomed us from day one with friendly and efficient service. We have returned that respect to them and maybe some guest complaining should check their own attitudes before criticising staff which earn praise, not complaints. Nobody is perfect but my wife and I have seen the efforts every day. And the staff every day tries to deliver to each and every guest. The building has its limitations and is not luxurious. But it is newly redecorated and clean. Very clean for Spanish standards. This team of hard working staff earns my praise and gratitude. Not every day it is easy to small for an individual at work. But they do.I emphasize that I have no business ties with Accor or no personal advantages making this comment. It is a fair appraisal of a hotel where people find pride in their work and do the Ibis and Accor name honour. I have seen other Accor hotels I could not give this praise. But this Alfafar staff and management I will praise and thank and defend against undue criticism.

    I must say the staff members here were very helpful. After my first room failed, I was given a very quiet room, which I appreciated. The room was spacious and very clean as indeed was the bathroom.They were kind enough to have GF bread and cake. On the whole I would pass on their breakfast.The hotel is a 7 minute strole to the airport. Very convenient indeed!     A great place with kind staff and good location.

    Overall a great place.When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the Ibis staff. There is a very nice dining area next to reception, and a bar. The corridors are neat and fresh, and you could tell they had been cleaned recently. Furthermore, our room was clean, and the sofa bed was already set up for us. The bathroom was also very clean, had a nice shower. Later on in our stay we needed some paper and a pen, and when we asked for it at reception we were given them with no hassle. The hotel breakfast had a wide span of food from cold cuts, traditional Spanish food, fruits, hot drinks, pastries, and much, much, more. It was cheap and definitely worth the price. Additionally, if you didn't want a big hotel breakfast there was an option of tea or coffee with pastries and cakes for just three euros. In conclusion, the staff are extremely kind, the hotel is very clean, and definitely value for money. I would recommend this to everybody since it is not too far from town centre. If you want to see Valencia, this is the perfect spot.

    The worst hotel I have ever seen

    The hotel wanted to charge me for a breakfast for an infant of 1 year old!!! The craziest thing I have ever seen in my life. I don’t think I will go back to this hotel. Also, I paid for 2 adult breakfasts and 1 child breakfast. They advised me I had only 1 breakfast. Terrible receptionists!!

    Quite neat and clean hotel. Well situated is you want to visit Valencia or if you are traveling to the South of Spain and want to spend a night in a good and safe place, Plenty of shops and restaurants around. Friendly staff.
