They Don't Listen to Guest Concerns
16 Apr 2026
My husband and I stayed at this hotel about 6 months ago, and then again over Easter weekend. We got the same room both times. The first time we stayed in the room several months ago, my husband advised the front desk that there were issues with the room. He also submitted a review that was requested by Hilton after our stay. It is supposed to be a handicapped accessible room. Six months ago there were several problems with the room, and NONE of them have been addressed. If you touch the toilet paper in the bathroom, the holder immediately falls apart, allowing the roll of toilet paper and the little bar that holds it to skitter across the floor. I just love using toilet paper that has rolled across the floor in a hotel bathroom. It was the same way six months ago. There are no extra electrical outlets at either side of the bed. Just a wall ouitlet for the clock and lamp. So, if you want to charge anything at the bedside, or you have a C-Pap, you have to unplug the clock or the lamp to use the wall outlet. Six months ago the hotel gave us an extension cord that stretched across the floor to the desk so my husband could have electricity on his side of the bed. Of course, I tripped over the extension cord that stretched across the room. Speaking of lamps, there is a massively HUGE lamp suspended over one of the bedside tables. It is clearly meant for a very large space, but they just stuck it there. The bedside table on that side of the bed is a teeny tiny little marble topped side able they must have taken from another spot in the hotel along with the enormous lamp suspended over it. The table is too small for even a bottle of water, without the water falling off. It was the same way six months ago. There are "blackout" shades on the window that have to be held up with binder clips like you would use on a packet of paper. Once the binder clips are removed, the shade falls, and the shade itself is riddled with holes. It looks like the material is rotting. It was that way six months ago. I am disappointed that Hilton pays absolutely NO attention to guest concerns. P.S. We are Hilton Diamond memebers, so we are not strangers to what one should expect from a hotel.

Sad and outdated property
08 Aug 2025
This is a sad Hilton property that does not offer you a great experience staying at this property. The rooms are outdated and dingy. The bathroom including the towels were not as clean as they should be hair on the counter and still on the towels.

Not the typical HGI experience for this location
27 Jul 2025
I emailed Katie, the general manager, about our experience, and unfortunately I never heard back. First, we have stayed at this Hilton location 2-3 times a year, over the past five years. We have typically always had a 4 or 5 star experience. On our most recent July 2025 experience, left us unsatisfied with no support or follow up. To be clear, in my email to Katie M. I didn’t ask for a refund, but I shared my concerns as it should be addressed for future customers. First, our room was changed from the type we requested. No one could answer why we were changed. I understand this may need to happen, but a simple explanation is important, especially since the room types were not the same. When we walked into our room at almost 11pm, it was a horrific 76 degrees. When the air conditioner clicked on it blew air that smelled like a chemical pesticide treatment. It was awful. We found a car vent febreeze attached to the air vent in the living area. We were both too short to remove it, but I can guess why it was placed there. There was a large group of guests in the lobby at 11:00pm. No problem, adults are having a good time, but their kids were screaming the hallways until well past midnight. No one at the front desk to respond to the escalating situation. And finally, to top it all off, the bed had a HUGE body sized divot on the left aide of the king bed. I could either sleep on the edge of the bed, or uphill towards middle of bed. Did I mention, because of the smell we had to turn AC up to click off to give our noses a rest? Swelter but clean(ish) air. This was the hands down worst night of sleep I have experienced at a Hilton property in recent memory. All in all, I would’ve liked an email/apology from the GM for my experience. Needless to say, I love the Hilton brand hotels, but I won’t recommend this location to my friends/family for a long while.

It was ok…

Fine for a quick stop. Clean, but outdated. The neighborhood was safe, the hotel and room seemed clean. My biggest issue was nothing in our room was stocked. Shower toiletries were empty, toilet paper was low. Cable was spotty. No extra bedding provided for the sleeper sofa. Staff was pleasant and the AC was fantastic. All in all, the hotel was fine but nothing special.

Perfectly fine

Nice tucked away location. Super friendly staff. Welcoming lobby (a great feature of most Garden Inns). Guest rooms are nice, with what appears to be new-ish carpeting. That's where the new-ish ends. Everything else is kinda in need of an update. Don't get me wrong - it's not a bad stay at all, but the place is just getting a little tired and needs a more wholesale overhaul. So don't overpay, but don't be afraid to stay here at all.
