The hotel is situated on the A-3 motorway at exit 334, next to the Ricardo Tormo race driving circuit in Cheste in the Community of Valencia. The commercial centre is around 6 km away and the nearest vineyards can be found some 18 km away.     Great little hotel near racetrack

    I stayed there just one night on the way from spain to germany, everything worked well. The receptionists gave a warm welcome and had my "wishes" from the booking ready (quiet ground floor room). They even told me, that this room had "private" parking directly in front of the door!The room was huge, everything worked well (internet, hot water...). At the bar you could get coffee or a drink with tapas at any time, dinner/breakfast hours were communicated directly at check-in. The breakfast was included in the rate, it was - being a hotel in Spain - a really good choice. German or english guests should not await an english breakfast for free! You even had scrambled eggs.....but of course not 5 types of cheese or similar.The only downside was - as it was a saturday in may - there was a huge wedding taking place. So I decided to have dinner elsewhere. But - as the rooms are quite far away from the terrace of the restaurant - there was no noise to be heard in the room.

    We ate here last week, the food was good quality and the portions were enormous, prices were good value. My only criticism is the staff were very slow with the service, but to be honest there was not enough of them, they were charging around trying to keep everyone happy. The place was full of locals which is normally a good sign.Would I eat here again ?Yes 👍

    Friendly and helpful staff both in and around the hotel and the bar restaurant. The breakfasts are good and the restaurant serves excellent food. The mussels are wonderful.Its more of a motel than a hotel though with chalets spread around which are two floors so if someone above is noisy you hear everything. It could do with a facelift as its quite tired looking in the room but the grounds are lovely and well maintained.There is a mini bar in the room but no glasses to drink from so quite pointless really. La Carreta, Director General at Hotel La Carreta, responded to this review Hello I think your opinion is good but your grade is bad. If you have been comfortable, you have eaten well.Keep in mind because of the covid issue there can be no decoration for your safety.If I would ask you two things, the first is that you rectify your notes, and the second that we meet again very soon, we will be veru very very very delighted. Thanks for your help.

    Worst of the worst BE CAREFUL

    It eas freezing cold of 6 degrees plus raining (20/01/20)and they left me in a room of no electricity,no hot water, no Tv, no Air-Condition and most important I wasn’t able to charge my mobile from middle of the night. I was calling via Room service few times and after long wait they telling me evertime that in 5 min someone is coming to fix. In the morning I called and another guy pick the phone he told me he didn’t know nothing about it and he don’t know Why I was left this situation, lack of communication and no proper explanation. 2 hour before of leaving the room they are offering me to change after complaining again. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ VERY VERY POOR SERVICE. BE CAREFUL. Will Never think book again in my life.

    We arrived tired and thirsty. The staff saw us, ignored us for 10’, kept ignoring us even after trying to draw their attention by all normal means. Not exactly the most welcoming recption. We left without having been waited on. Avoid these unfriendly people.
