Location

This hotel is located opposite Malverrosa beach, close to the harbour. The lively centre of Valencia lies around 3 km away and is easily reached in a number of minutes. The next public transport stop is only 100 m away from the hotel. The architectural sightseeing attractions of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias lie an around 15-minute drive away. Various shopping, bars, boutiques and restaurants are to be found in the near vicinity of the hotel. Valencia airport is only around 15 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 8 junior suites, 2 suites and 231 double rooms located in a 4-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Other services include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a projector.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and Ayurveda treatments and, for an additional fee, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Children are well looked after in the kids' club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room and a bar. Half board is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We really enjoyed a week’s stay here - highlights in the hotel were the very friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room and bed with pillows menu, excellent shower, and efficient room service. Plentiful room amenities. Breakfast was plentiful with wide choice. Pool was sparklingly clean although not heated. The Concierges were extremely helpful in arranging outings. My daughter and I both thought our massages were the best we had ever had. We also really enjoyed eating dinner in the hotel a few evenings and also had some nice meals at restaurants along the promenade. We also really enjoyed exploring Valencia, there was lots to do.

    My wife & I both have mobility problems, she had emergency treatment to her knee the night before our departure. Not withstanding this unexpected problem we still enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The facilities are excellent & we found the staff really friendly & very helpful in making sure we were alright. Obviously we regretted not being able to do all the things on our wish list but we enjoyed the comfortable room & lovely view overlooking the sea & beach from our balcony. One complaint,the mammoth choice of food at breakfast meant we broke all our dieting rules!     Ok but doesn’t feel like a leading 5 star hotel - disturbing views from the window

    Few points that were disappointing: - Surroundings of the hotel. Our room faced a garbage / shelter (see picture). This is unacceptable for the hotel claiming to be luxurious / belonging to the leading hotels of the world. Rooms with such view should be offered at discount. - Spa at additional charge. In no other five star hotel in the world I have faced a requirement to pay an extra amount to enter a spa / sauna. - Some staff behaved unprofessionally. In the dining area, a lady in a rude manner didn’t allow us to have a coffee at the terrace while breakfast, sending us to a bar area where clients are expected to pay extra.     staff was rude, the rooms were underwhelming and it was so busy it was more like staying in a circus than a nice hotel. It does not deserve 5 stars.
