  A washout!

  Neptune is the god of fresh water, but we didn’t expect our hotel room to get lots of rain which came in through the leaky roof consistently throughout our stay. Worryingly, we were on the third of 4 floors, so wonder what the floor above us was like. We moved from 302 to 304 but the new room also leaked.Very disappointed at the managers general unfriendliness and lack of response to the issue. In contrast, the younger receptionists, particularly Gisela, were very good.But overall would not go back and feel I’ve hugely overpaid for a poor experience.Somewhat ironically, they had the cheek to charge us €10 per umbrella!!!

  Went for a Thai massage in the spa, would highly recommend. The pain I was having in my shoulder disappeared. The experience was both effective and enjoyable. The ladies were lovely. Thank you

  We booked king-size junior suite ocean view suite. We had a spacious lovely room with a view the beach and ocean! The windows were one of those standing balcony windows so you can lean out and soak in the view.I love people watching and I had so much fun looking at the ocean and looking at the wonderful boardwalk area as couples and families and people walk back-and-forth and ordered corn from the wonderful corn vendor that was always stationed right there on the corner (definitely get a piece of grilled corn from him!!).Staff was really friendly. Hotel was gorgeous to look at it every angle you could feel the local art of the area, no matter where you turned. We arrived a couple of hours early and our room wasn’t ready, but they’re really helpful and securely tagged and locked up our luggage and were helpful and told us where to walk to get food but it wasn’t hard to find because all you do is walk out the door and there’s the wonderful boardwalk area with kilometers of restaurants and bars. Do eat often at their restaurant we love their dinner and the staff is wonderful. definitely make a reservation it will help it not get full so you don’t have to wait for a table. Do order wine which is basically $3 -amazing!!We had the wonderful steak and had croquettes as appetizer which is the go to tapas option in Valencia! Among others!The breakfast is good but at 22 euros we only did it once but they had fresh squeezed orange juice and a variety of fruits and bread with spreads only found in Spain!I will be honest-at night the big nightclub across the way is definitely thumping. If you are a light sleeper probably not the best hotel for you. We are from New York City and it did not bother us. Tuesday night was the loudest the rest of the night the parting lasted until 2 am as opposed to 5 amIt didn’t bother us and the windows are pretty sound proof. Do plan to rent a chaise lounge and an umbrella at the stand just across from the hotel (really wide beach takes ten min to cross). Go in morning to secure your chair it is worth $16 eurosReally easy to catch cabs and accessible to old city. A 15 euro cab ride will get you into old cityLove it and plan to go back!!

  Came with group of (well-behaved) mates. Right on the beach and close to sea-front bars/restaurants and the long promenade. Buzzing atmosphere locally. Room was superb with loads of extra goodies. Great value too. Really impressed. The breakfast was apparently very good but at €25 a bit steep for me. Loved it here. If you come to this area and think it’s too noisy, you’re probably in the wrong place. Recommended.   From the Reception, Bar/Restaurant, Chambers maids to the lurvley ladies in the Spa one word for them all WOW.So friendly and helpful with any questions you have. The place was spotless the cleaners had the place top notched. Reception always friendly always going out and beyond for you. Mostly dealt with the lovely Gerado so nice as helped us with the booking.Restaurant/Bar lovely staff there too some language barrier at times with my broken Spanish and their broken English but making the effort all the time with you. Breakfast in the morning there was a quite of a variety. The lovely chef (so sorry forgot name) made us fresh yummy omelettes every morning and she remembered our order each morning in which was a nice touch.The waitress Virginia, Camilla, Alex , Carlos , another gentleman forgot name sorry and there was another lady waitress also forgot name she was serving us at a family function on the 30th she too unreal like the rest of the staff working in the Bar/Restaurant very obliging. They too had the both areas very clean and the bfast area always topped up when running low with different types of food and drinks and etc...Rooms very spacious and unreal toiletries and free too. Very handy 👌 rooms were cleaned every day on request. The ladies very nice and obliging if needed anything.The Spa what can I say except WOW again the ladies there very friendly and welcoming the spa itself omg unreal from the sauna , steam room to the pool with different types of water pressures for massage and the mini jacuzzi in the Spa pool. Definitely recommend it as so relaxing and slept like a baby that night. Your provided with slippers, dressing gown and a towel . Its a 10/10 from us.Overall the experience was wow , unreal I would definitely recommend it from the hotel, the amazing staff and not forgetting the location it's right on the beach and many restaurants and bars in the area.The only thing I would suggest if a light sleeper is to bring ear plugs as it can it a bit noisy if on street view in the mornings with deliverys and at night can be noisy with the late party goers especially at weekends. It's a easy fix i will know for next time as a return visit in on the cards for the near future.Thank you to the staff at Neptuno making my dad and I stay a very memorable and relaxing stay.
