Location

This hotel is ideally situated right in the city centre, in a pedestrian area. Public transport leaves from directly in front of the hotel. Shops, offices and restaurants are all located nearby and it is only 10 minutes from the main train station. It is 7 km to the nearest beach.

192 rooms, including 2 junior suites, suites and 189 double rooms, are located on 12 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     We have visited this Hotel 5 times as the staff are very professional and welcoming. This year we visited my Father who suffers with Lung fibrosis. He arranged an air pump and motorised wheelchair to be delivered to the Hotel in preparation for his stay. We were extremely pleased when we checked in to find that the wheelchair was already in the baggage cupboard and the Hotel staff had taken the time to see how ot operated so they could pass on the information to us. Not only this but the air machine was already and waiting in my Father's room which had been upgraded to a special needs suite. Every member of staff we came across was so eager to help and this made my Father feel supported and very at ease. A big thanks to everyone there and we hope to visit again on the not so distant future.     Extremely offensive staff member

    In 30 years of travelling all over the world never have I ever encountered such disrespectful, offensive and ignorant staff. For context I am a wheelchair user. When getting breakfast at the hotel an elderly member of staff with the brightest red pair of glasses you’ve ever seen asked us our hotel room number which we told her, she scoffed at us saying no that’s incorrect (it wasn’t), to which she then started saying other hotel room numbers asking if it was ours, we said no we are in this hotel room and wrote the number down on the sheet on paper in front of her, then as I went to open my wallet to pull out the official hotel card that had the hotel room number written on it the woman blurted out “dumba** r*t**d what is the room”. She was asked to repeat what she had just said but she refused and played the “I don’t speak English card”. This caused great offence as you can imagine. Never ever have I been spoke to like this anywhere in the world.This encounter was reported to the staff at the front desk which was just palmed off as “okay we will make note of this”.This is completely unacceptable and I can definitively say it was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever hadThe rooms also had a very strange smell at night when we would get back to the room, the only thing I can compare to it is sewage water.. 🤮

    I would absolutely recommend this hotel. It was nice, very clean, relatively spacious (for Europe!) and in a wonderful location. The comfort level of the beds specifically stood out — they were excellent!     The hotel itself is nice, I chose because of the location and that I am a NH member who has stayed in many NH hotels so decided to stick with NH for my first time to Valencia.I had booked / emailed months in advance to advise it was our anniversary and we were looking forward to staying at NH and a room with a double bed (not twin beds)On arrival, we spoke to the reception guy who whilst he was formal and welcoming, unfortunate there was no happy anniversary nothing. He just advised us that the room was wasn’t ready. We left the bags and went out for the day / evening.On arrival back to the hotel in the evening, we were advised our room had been changed due to a twin bed being our room, regardless of the request months in advance which the receptionist corrected for us. Again, no happy anniversary nothing.Room was nice, super hot shower and lovely and clean.On checking out, we were just asked what room and check out done. For our 17th wedding anniversary, and not a mention of our anniversary from3 sets of staff was disappointing.The staff are different to other NH hotels where we have been warmly greeted and asked how we are and is it our first time visiting etc. it feels almost robotic at this hotel, like a conveyer belt where they just process the check in and check out and that’s it - nothing personal etc just a job.We still had a lovely time in a beautiful city and this lack of personal touch or engagement was the only slight.
