  A Low Point of Texas Hamptons

  As context, this was the next-to-last of a three-week trip in Texas where we stayed 17 nights in Hamptons literally around the state. This place was not up to current Hampton standards. The gym was half the size and equipment we have come to expect, and two of four aerobic machines were broken. The breakfast was only half filled in the morning like they were not expecting anyone to really eat it. The bathroom door barely closed over a buckled tile floor, and the sink, while it didn't leak, was missing almost half of the drain edge. A plus is that this place was one of only two Hamptons (out of 17) that had a credit card operated washer and dryer, though only one of each. I note that about a third of the Hamptons were under remodeling, and this one was not and still the worst.

  When you get here, be sure to ask for amber! She is so sweet, so lovely, so kind, so respectful! Man she gave me the best customer service & took care of my sister. Such a sweet girl, God bless! If this place is up & running nicely, it’s definitely bc of Amber!

  Travel for work but always stay at this hotel! They have a lot of options for breakfast and it taste good. The rooms are very comfortable, I can do my workout at the small gym and the best I found is the customer service at the front desk! Erica thank you for helping me find my iron!!!! For a business trip it made me feel like home.

  The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and a significant amount of mold around the bath. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast, bluntly, was inedible. There was no butter, just a margarine like substance. The oatmeal was congealed - so much so that when we reported it to the lady at reception she agreed! The cereal in the dispensers was old.The staff were all helpful.
