    Better inside than out

As we first pulled up there was some trepidation, as the place looks run down from outside. Inside the rooms were very comfortable and spacious and modern. Great bathrooms with toiletries. Fantastic breakfast choice with good service.Dog friendly too although they only accept dogs up to 10kgs. Easy car parking. Lovely bar/restaurant (La Pineda) across the road.

    Excellent staff, average hotel

    rating05 Jun 2017

Overnight stay on road trip to Southern Spain. This is a quirky hotel on the very edge of Requena which has seen better days. It almost seems from the area that, had the town kept expanding in that direction, it would have been better positioned - but it didn't. The block of rooms/apartments to the back are run down and for sale I believe. The remaining block could do with some care. We were put on an upper (2nd or 3rd) floor, but lift worked well. Room was large with chair, settee, case stand, wardrobe and air conditioning. Bathroom was dated and shower didn't work well, but finally did the job. Had to leave window open when showering though, as no extraction. And the sink was outside the bathroom in a vanity unit of its own, which was strange. Luckily enough, the staff (whose English was only slightly better than my Spainish, which is awful!) were very helpful and a good evening meal was had after some translation difficulties. Continental breakfast was very good though, with a lot of what was obviously fresh local produce. All in all this hotel is well worth an overnight stay. Tips: Don't visit Requena on a Tuesday - ALL the restaurants in the town are closed - and I mean all of them! Never did find out why.

    best support at this Hotel

Though its a 20 minutes walk, along with your luggage, if you are not arrived in your car. The owner lady was the most helpful person i met on my spanish tour. She facilitated in english, whatever help we asked for. She arranged the water and wine festival+bull ring tickets for us. I would love to stay there again

Nice hotel badly fallen by the wayside

    rating27 Jul 2016

This hotel has clearly been effected by the economic crisis in Spain and is wallowing in self pity rather than getting organised to be a good hotel which, with a bit of effort it could be.Half the building is closed down and has a for rent sign in the window so there is a poor first impression. The bedrooms are clean and the beds comfy but lacking in maintenance. There is a general air of lack of attention to detail.Location is fine if you are travelling but its 10 minutes out of town. There is a cafe serving a very mediocre and limited breakfast but no dinner. The restaurant is closed apart from special events. There is bar and somewhat run down outside sitting area but it took ages to get a drink. There was a lady and gent who appeared to be the managers and they were very pleasant. The breakfast waitress did not want to be there. There is a lack of good hotels in the area and this one could best be described as adequate.

    Good overnight stop

    rating21 Feb 2015

If you are travelling north to south or vice versa, this is a good place to stop for the night, close to Valencia. In a family run hotel, the room I had was on the top floor, spacious with a very good bathroom. At first I thought there would be a wifi problem (I need it for work) & the young lady at reception did everything to help me. In the end, wifi was adequate. They have a car park & serve an evening meal as well as breakfast. I ate there & had a simple, good meal with fresh vegetables & a glass of the local red wine which was very drinkable. With a dessert, the ,meal came to 11€. It was cold & there was a welcoming fire in the small dining room.
