Location

This hotel is located in Puerto de Sagunto, only a few meters from the beach and around 2 km from Sagunto. This ancient Roman settlement has plenty of sightseeing attractions to offer. In addition, it includes all the fantastic Roman forts and other moments from that period. The hotel lies around 2 km from Saguntos harbour and is around 20 km from the exhibition area in Valencia as well as some 25 km from Valencia itself and about 30 km from the airport.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 6-storey building with a lift and 86 non-smoking rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     Hotel vent de mar is a very nice hotel. The service was excellent especially the front desk lady, Camilla, who added with her charming, competent personality to our marvelous stay.

    Spacious, very clean room with good sized balcony and fridge. Bathroom fine, although could do with a makeover. Reception staff are pleasant. If that's all you require (as we did), then all good. Restaurant meals must be booked in advance: the one menu I saw posted was not very inviting, not a part of the business they are promoting, it seems. Tiny bar/cafeteria with limited range and service to be summoned from Reception. Over 2 days, I never saw any staff or guests there. Roof terrace (advertised as Solarium) not available on a sunny day with temperatures over 25, a building site. When I questioned it, I was told it was only open in summer, which begins in June.

    We stayed at the Vent de Mar twice in 2020 and both times we enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast is very nice with a large selection of meats, fruits, cheeses and other breakfast foods. Victor was a great help at the front desk. Everyone was very friendly. The room needs some updating but it was clean and the beds comfortable. What made it a good hotel was the friendliness of staff. The view was beautiful and the area was very quiet.

    Myself and my husband stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of August. Our 3rd visit and definitely the best. This is a 3 star hotel, so you don't expect luxury and I can't understand some of these reviews. The rooms are spacious and well sound proofed, they are cleaned and tidied every day, good shower and hairdryer, safe for €3, good choice of food at breakfast. The one downside for me was that no kettles are allowed in the rooms. However, the staff made sure that i had plenty of hot water to drink my fix of my english tea!! The staff are excellent, I can't praise them enough. Big shout out to Victor, Natalya and Mauro, Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to see you again next year. The hotel is in a great location. 5 minutes to beach, shops and bars and restaurants. Try Molly Malones around the corner, great beers and tapas and sandwiches. A great week.

    The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is it's proximity to the beach. The Wi-Fi reception is terrible, asking to reconnect constantly - if you're lucky enough to get any reception at all; the A/C in the room is pathetic and does not cool the room down in the slightest (the hallways and lobby are cool however); and you'd be better off skipping breakfast or going out to eat. I will stay not be staying here again.
