Location

This luxury hotel lies at the heart of the city, in a pedestrianised zone. Restaurants, bars, pubs and shopping venues are all located in the neighbourhood. The main train station is around 10 minutes away.

The hotel has 238 rooms, including 15 junior suites and 222 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     We where not informed that the swimming pool was out of order. Roomservice not available at 00:15 while the menu says it’s open till 00:30 meaning we had to go to sleep without diner. Breakfast quality is not worthy for a 5 star hotel (old ham, dry croissants, hard melon). We have paid the full amount for the rooms while the swimming pool is not available. This should have been made much more clear at the booking. When we complained we got two free drinks which obviously does not make up for it!

    We booked this hotel specifically for the swimming pool, as we were travelling with our 3-year-old daughter and I am 7 months pregnant. Upon arrival, we were informed that the pool had been closed for months, despite there being no clear information about this on the hotel’s official website.Reception initially claimed the information was online, but even the staff could not find it when checking the website with us.We ended up cancelling and searching for another hotel at the last minute, which was extremely stressful in our situation.A 5-star hotel should communicate this kind of important information much more clearly.     Luxurious hotel with attentive staff

    Luxurious hotel in an amazing location - big park across the road and a short walk to the city centre. We had an issue with renovation work above our room and the staff moved us straight away - our double bed was even upgraded to a super king which was much appreciated! As a light sleeper, I was worried I'd be distubed by noise from other guests, but to my surprise didn't hear a single thing from any of the other rooms. Buffet breakfast was good but the bakeries nearby are much tastier (and cheaper!). Hotel is also really clean - the hallways and other public areas were constantly being cleaned whilst we were there.     Polite and helpful reception staff. Lovely big room. Comfortable bed bottom sheet top sheet then duvet just like home.
