Stay in the hotel very nice clean room nice bathroom and service on the reception desk was excellent location brilliant five minutes walk to the centre no need for any transport definitely would stay here again. I’ll recommend it.

I did a lot of research to find the perfect hotel in the old town but also at a reasonable cost and this hotel ticked all the boxes. The hotel is lovely. We had an inner courtyard room which had all the amenities except an iron. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The highlight for us was that we were staying to celebrate my birthday and the hotel sent up a bottle of very nice cava and a piece of cake and candies. It really made me smile and I can’t thank you enough for making me feel extra special. We had breakfast included in our stay and I would say that this was a little disappointing. Usually at other hotels we’ve stayed the staff usually ask if we would like to order a pot of tea or coffee as we are seated and each day we had to find staff to request it. The first day we were brought a pot of coffee and a pot of milk. The second day we were only brought a pot of coffee. We asked for a pot of milk but were told to go get it ourselves from the bottle in the breakfast area which is used for the cereals. I just thought this was disappointing having to take the cup of coffee to the breakfast room to add the milk. Also no-one mentioned that we could order separate cooked to order items. We noticed these on the menu and had to find staff to ask was it ok to order them. Have to say the quality of the items wasn’t great when they arrived. I don’t want this to take away from an otherwise perfect stay. I would definitely recommend the hotel but just not the quality of the breakfast. There are so many delicious bakeries on the doorstep that I would choose to do breakfast elsewhere if I stayed again.

The room was not good isolated. Central and comfortable but somewhat average….for the price

The room was fine, well appointed and good quality toiletries. Twin Beds were ok too not the most comfortable but I’ve had worse. There is just something average about this hotel. The noise from banging doors on the corridor was insane. The walls are not soundproof. I specifically asked for a quiet room on a high floor away from elevator as this usually signals we like quiet at night but it was crazy the way the noise travelled down the corridor into the room. The noise of twin beds being dragged across tiled floors (at all times) reverberated on ceiling and in the walls. Doors with no soft close banging constantly. Then the one morning I did actually fall asleep, house keeping knocked and entered at 09:43 on a Sunday morning. Stating she wanted to clean the room. We booked breakfast with our room but for a vegan it was just not good. I had chopped pineapple and melon everyday. No vegan yogurt offered as standard. No vegan milk offered as standard either at the buffet. Only dairy butter offered for toast. You have to order coffee/cappuccino at the bar, you have to bring your cup which sits on your table so it’s not warm, then the oat milk cappuccino arrived cold and undrinkable. They have plant milk behind the bar but it’s not offered as part of the buffet…. Why?In this day and age making people ask for vegan basic options which should be standard in a **** (four star) hotel was just plainly irritating. I’ve stayed in many *** (three star) and **** (four star) hotels which do better. Something distinctly average about this hotel. I won’t be rushing back unfortunately.
