  Dirty & Disgusting bathrooms worst hotel stay in last 10 years

  Stayed in December 2025. Bathroom in the room was disgusting. Showed picture to front desk who agreed it was disgusting but didn't offer to do anything. The person said their manager would get back to me, never heard anything since. Hotel front-desk staff mostly do not speak English. I tried calling several times to book the spa, but the person couldn't understand my Spanish and didn't speak English or French. Sent two messages to the hotel that were not answered. Upon arrival, the front desk agent (who didn't speak English) explained in Spanish that the spa was full for the duration of my stay. Honestly the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last decade.

  We spent 2 nights at this beautiful hotel in a suite which was huge with excellent air conditioning and very comfortable beds with a view towards the castle.Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and was continually being refreshed, bar food was also excellent as well as the evening meal.Staff were very friendly and attentive as we do not speak Spanish.We could not find any fault and would highly recommend this hotel.The location is also beautiful with a stunning castle and we also visited the Virtus winery just down the road which was very interesting and informative.

  We wanted to have diner, the bartender said it was allright but the lady who was in charge said we had to sit in a separate room. We were completeert ignored there. Up to the point were they forgot to bring us our maincourse…. When we asked for it the lady said that the bartender forgot to bring it, it was his fault,she couldn’t help us but hete was our bill…..The food was allright (ontging special) but the service was realy bad….

  Lovely building, but no hospitality

  I was seduced by the photos of the wonderful building and booked a suite. The building lived up to expectations apart from a poorly designed bathroom which was disappointing. Staff were poorly trained and there was a complete absence of hospitality. Shame, it could be wonderful with some investment in people and training.
