Far too expensive for what it is!!!!!

We have just arrived and because it’s the start of their fiesta, we are paying more, I.e. £296.780 per night and yes, we are in a superior room. However, they only supply you with one!!!! pillow which is very flat. When we asked for more pillows they only had one!!!!!

    Great place to stay.

This hotel is centrally located and comfortable. The staff at the front desk are the friendliest people I have ever met. I will say that the parking could be better explained. You have to go down a street that has a sign prohibiting you from going down, so getting there without knowing was a bit of a challenge. I would definitely go back!

    A perfect boutique hotel

This hotel is modern, happening, very comfortable, friendly and ideally located in one of the very elegant squares surrounding the cathedral which is of undecided style but gigantic and impressive. Everything was absolutely perfect, staff was wonderful.

This is a good place for drinks. They do not serve tapas or anything to drink. I ordered a small beer, because I could not drink a large one. The waitress was not polite. She told me in a rude manner that they do not serve "cortos". They should be more polite. Francisco Posada, Director General at Hotel Zenit El Coloquio, responded to this review Dear guest. I'm sorry that you was offended by the waiter's reply. We think it may be some misunderstanding about the language . It was not our intention to be disrespectful. The hotel apologizes if you have felt upset.

    Beautiful hotel. Good location

    rating25 Sept 2019

When we first arrived it was hard to find the hotel because if faces plaza de la Universidad but we called and a lady from the front desk came out and met us by the road and showed us the parking garage. You have to have a small car to park in the garage. The hotel is beautiful, you can tell it's been remodeled but they've still left alot of the charm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. So why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5? Because of the noise at night, our room faced the cathedral and there is an alley between the hotel and cathedral so everything echos off the walls. Our last night was the worst because people were partying all night right outside our room. Then at 4am some kids starting yelling at the top of their lungs. I realize this is not the hotels fault so I would suggest you ask for a room that doesn't face the cathedral. Really sad because we love the city and the hotel. Juan Carlos D, Director General at Hotel Zenit El Coloquio, responded to this review Sorry for the inconvenience during your stay. Unfortunately, some street noises despite being soundproofed by the hotel produced by unsociable people can be heard.
