We drove 2 hours straight from the airport in Madrid after an overnight international flight. I recommend emailing the hotel directly ahead of time to make the reservation instead of using a third party website. They just held my name and credit card and did not charge us until we arrived. Since our flight was delayed it saved us a ton of money as they charged us only for the night we actually used. Parking was free and directly in front of the hotel. We had a rental car. The staff was very helpful and presented a map and oriented us with recommendations for food and sites worth seeing. The rooms and the bathrooms were impeccable and the sheets were fresh and crisp, and we were very comfortable. There were blackout curtains perfect for a nap after a long flight! We didn’t opt for the continental breakfast, but the coffee was outstanding. They also had over 15 options for loose leaf tea infusions. You can easily make charges to your room.Definitely, check out the city of Tordesillas by foot! Don’t miss the Plaza Mayor and the Museo de Arte Sacro. The park near the museum overlooks the water and has gorgeous rose garden. Also, don’t miss the lavender fields in Tiedra. Great photo ops!!!

Not great

We had a functional one stop here on our way from our home on the Costa tropical to Galicia. We did the same earlier in the year and stayed at the nearby parador which is sadly closed for a refurb - the room very basic and when I say the shower was the worse we have ever experienced- that is no exaggeration!! Water pressure appalling and was in for about a minute - darted round to get wet. Quite expensive bearing in mind it was so basic. Certainly won’t be staying there again. Opposite the bus station which we knew it they was quite noisy. So all in all - okay for one night as long as you accept that the shower pressure is appalling. Mentioned it to reception on checkout - I’m sure we won’t be the first ….

we arrived late for one night a couple of weeks ago, knackered from driving ad dying to go to bed. Check in was quick, we got a couple of glasses of wine a went to a very comfortable night of sleep.Rooms are huge, clean, comfortable and disable friendly

The bed didn't seem too bad but the mattress was too soft with no support - my back hurt in the morning after a night sleeping on it. The walls and floors are made of cardboard; you can hear the person in next door's bathroom sneeze, walk around, shower, talk, open the tap and flush the toilet - not to mention all the rest - all that from the bed(!). Aside from the paper-thin walls, the ventilation ducts transmit a lot of noise. The place needs a major overhaul with an emphasis on noise reduction. (Room 306)Breakfast was OK but not much variety - no hot food such as eggs or sausages. There is no private parking although it wasn't too hard to find a space walking a little way. Breakfast was OK. You don't have to walk far to get to the town.

Very comfortable if rather bland

This hotel sits just outside the old walled part of the town, beside the bus station. It offers very large, clean modern rooms with very big bathrooms and good free wifi and breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful (changing one room when we had cigarette smoke in one). There was free on street parking in front of the hotel. And the price is very good. But you have to ask "why visit overnight in Tordesillas?". There is not much worth seeing here. A much better option would be to stay in nearby Toro - 5 interesting churches and a lovely Plaza Mayor.
