Wonderful staff wants you to have a great experience

Wonderful staff, ice cold air-conditioning that runs all day, whether you are in the room or not, comfortable, perfect location, and great spirit. We loved our stay in Valladolid, and the hotel staff, especially Roberto, was a big part of this. He had GREAT recommendations for local tapas, and off-the-beaten-path places to see art. We loved Valladolid, a place where you can still experience Spain without constant American voices (like my own.) This city is NOT on the tourist route, and that is part of what makes it so special. Also the architecture is great, and the Plaza Mayor us beautiful. Hotel Imperial is a perfect location to enjoy all Valladolid has to offer.

Gorgeous Hotel with Amazing Staff

The hotel is very characterful on the inside; very calm and relaxing. What makes it truly special however are the staff who couldn't have done more to make our visit special. We received a warm, welcome at check in and were given lots of helpful information. Breakfast was plentiful, including a freshly cooked option. Parking is really convenient in the nearby paid for parking and we received helpful communication before our arrival, which made the hotel easy to find and avoided the local environmental climate tax fines.I left an item behind and the staff went above and beyond by notifying me immediately and then going out of their way to post it on to me. They even maintained regular contact to ensure I had received my package. We hope to return again soon. The air conditioning took a bit long to cool down the room.

Great Hotel! The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. The air conditioning took a bit long to cool down the room. On the other hand, it didn't make any noise, which I highly appreciated as I slept very well through the night.

I like to stop in Valladolid en route to the costas as it’s a beautiful city. I chose this hotel for a night, because the last one I used to stay at ( the Colon Plaza) has gone right down hill and therefore has lost my custom.The reception area is as previous reviews have stated, absolutely gorgeous. The checkin was fairly quick once we had got over the language barriers.I had room 218 a double and I had requested a room looking over the street. ( although I had not thought of all the noise from outside going on beyond 2 am). Certainly nothing the hotel can do about it. Fortunately I had ear plugs , so a good nights sleep was had.The room itself was clean and basic, with a fridge and some water in it, disappointingly, there was no tea and coffee facilities in the room, but again I carry my own.I think the room needs some pictures up as it’s a bit bland and soulless, especially after seeing the wonderful reception area. ( just my opinion) the shower was good with lots of hot water. Breakfast times are good 7-11 but can be quite busy and I felt a bit squeezed in, also on the way out I noticed a couple having a cooked breakfast bacon and eggs! No one advised me this was available and there were no menus about.Otherwise, the layout is quite plentiful.The hotel is just round the corner from the square and it’s done up for Christmas, like the hotel. Valladolid certainly knows how to decorate for the time of year . Fabulous! Checkout was fast and professional and I was able to leave my bags securely put away for a few hours whilst I wandered round the city.Yes, In summing up overall, I would recommend and possibly return on my next visit, only this time ask for an inside room.
