  Great little hotel - would use again.

  Lovely hotel, I believe it only has 2 stars, but I knew that when I booked it, and in my view, it deserved more. My room was quirky and very nice, and functional. It was all super clean, although some bits could do with a lick of paint. The only real issue I had was that the showerhead refused to stay vertical. You see that more often in hotels, and it's such an easy fix that it should never happen. Besides that, lovely staff, great location, and I would use it again. Some other reviewers complained about the noise, my room had double glazed doors and when shut I couldn't hear anything so no issue for me.

  Hotel is in the middle of Casco Viejo (Old City) and easy to find.This was our 3rd and 4th time stay during March 2026 and we loved it again.In case of reservation you will receive "code" for main door and reception door.Rooms are in the second floor so you have to carry your luggage because there is no lift.Every room is an "art", you will like it.They do not serve breakfast but around the hotel there are plenty of cafes etc. The Ladies in the reception Tamar and Raquel helped us for check in , and we got map.Room & Bathroom , towels are super clean.For the last 2-3 years some hotels does not supply "slippers" , so bring yours.They put drinking water in the room.On the "mini reception" area coffee machine is available and there is also big fridge for you food etc.Nice environment full of cafes and bars/ restaurants.

  Ar the heart of the Old Town.

  We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it, fortunately we are not light sleepers and the noise from the street bever really bothered us. Rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is no breakfast here but there is a communal sitting room with coffee machine. Our host for most of the time was Aritz who was so helpful and allowed us to practise Euskadi on him! We would stay here again because of its location. Eskerrick asko.

  It’s ok but we won’t rush back

  Clean pension, friendly staff , comfortable bed and a good location.A couple of things to mention:Very noisy through the night, ear plugs are provided but if you are a light sleeper, I would not stay in this area.Our room the bathroom door won’t close fully and the shower holder on the wall was broken.I think it needs a bit of work on the property.

  The accomodation was right in the middle of Bilbao's old town and around a 30 minute walk to the main museum section. Lots of do and see around the hotel and city. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Service was excellent - the team really helped with tips for Bilbao and sorting us out with a couple of special requests. The only downside is that it is right in the middle of the old town which means a lot of street noise until very late at night. That is clearly advertised though so you can't complain when it turns out to be true!
