Location

    Delighted with our choice of hotel. Lovely location - opposite the Zubizuri pedestrian bridge. Nice walk along the river to the old town- about 1 kilometre. Across the bridge were also some nice bars/ restaurants. Tram nearby- so easy to get to bus station. Bus stop for airport not too far. We had lovely room on 8th floor - it was a room with large terrace and separate living area. Room and bathroom- a bit basic and dated but clean and had everything you need. Shampoo and shower gel are wall dispensers. No other toiletries provided. Toilet paper is also wall dispenser. Good rainfall shower and nice towels. Hairdryer not great. Safe in room and plenty wardrobe space. Reception staff very helpful. Good breakfast- hot and cold food. Scrambled /fried eggs, bacon, sausages. Cold meats, cheese, fruit, juices. yogurt. Bread, pastries, biscuits. We would be happy to stay here again.

    Not the hotel so can’t comment but the cafe bar on the Main Street .Went in to get some drinks.The servers served 3 customers before me even though he acknowledged me . Ended up walking out very annoyed. Served all the locals and ignored the English tourists not good .

    Good hotel in a great location, ten minutes walk from the Old Town, but with great transport links via Tram over the Zubizurri bridge.

    This is great location for exploring Bilbao. We booked directly with the hotel. The reception team are fantastic and provide a 5 star service. House keeping is excellent - the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel was a high standard. We booked two rooms - a double superior with balcony and a double for single use. Both had walk in showers. The balcony was large enough to sit on with a side view of the river. The superior was comfortable with enough room but the single use interior room felt rather sombre. The rooms could use a refresh and a chest of drawers but this did not affect our enjoyment and the beds are very comfortable. It is quiet at night and the area around the hotel is peaceful and feels very safe. The funicular is not far and the local bars are really good. Extra praise to the reception team who help us get the most of our trip. Breakfast needs some improvement. The coffee is not good but there is plenty to eat and the scrambled eggs are delicious.

    Great location and nice facilities. The rooms with balcony are very nice. The internal room are more fucntional but still fine. Lovely breakfast. The reception staff are absolutely first class - could not be more helpful especially the Lady hotel manager
