We had a two night stop here en route to Portugal.The Room itself was lovely but feel that 20 euros per night for one dog is bit excessive.Did not feel the service in the restaurant was very good but this is based on one waiter who clearly did not like his job and was quite rude.Customer service should always be highest priority and is a reflection on the hotel itself.We left with no fond memories it was simply ok.

This was our second visit to this hotel (3 nights on this occasion). Overall, he hotel is good, with very nice rooms, lovely grounds, a (very) tough little par three golf course, and is ideally situated for trips in to Bilbao or as an airport stopover being within 10 minutes drive of the latter.Most rooms are large, well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is the usual buffet (perhaps more 'spanish' than 'international) but very nice indeed.The main problem here, in our experience is dinner. Last year, we ate burgers in the restaurant, and these were under-cooked. Being very tired, we simply ate them and we were both ill. On this occasion, we again ordered burgers and, again, they were very (very!) undercooked. Having a 'pink' (raw) interior to a burger is very dangerous (not at all like having 'rare' steak for example). On this occasion, we sent the meals back to be cooked properly. However, not only were the burgers still raw in the centre, the rest of the meal had been badly dried-out, doubtless under a heat lamp. As a result, we left the restaurant and ate at an excellent restaurant nearby, and did so throughout our stay.The dinner experience was very disappointing, particularly as the rest of the hotel is excellent but , if they can't find a chef to cook burgers correctly, don't eat dinner here!

Beautiful old villa in a tranquil yet convenient location.

This is an old villa in the hills outside Bilbao. It is located in a beautiful, tranquil setting with amazing views. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms modern. The breakfast was great and the hotel is a 10 minute max drive to the airport and 20 minutes to Bilbao. We left something behind and Erika went out of her way helping us get the package sent to our next hotel. We cannot thank her enough for the great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this hotel to others.

A fantastic surprise !

We didn't know what to expect other than an old manor house near the airport that is used for business meetings (and in the Uk this often means very average!)However our stay was fantastic and this was the best of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our time in Basque Country. Our bedroom was enormous with separate sitting room with a fantastic view and we had an excellent steak for dinner with decent wine and the breakfast was also very good. And in the morning it is literally a 10 minute drive to the airport.

Beautiful location and a very stylish hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant dinner was very good. On-site parking and easy drive into Bilbao. Would recommend to anyone visiting Bilbao but not wanting to stay in town. Nice café on site in addition to the main restaurant very comfortable bed and quality linen.
