    Lowest IBIS Standard possible

    There are two ibis next to each other. The budget ibis is serviced by the normal ibis and does not have any facilities. We had to book it because there was nothing else available. Taxi to the City cost 25,- The area there is industrial and not worth to be visited at all. The standard of ibis budget is below any ibis I have seen yet. The room size is like traveling in an old sleeping coach.

    I have expected way much more for 130€/ night. At least the room should not look like a prison cell. Holes in the wall. Delusion. Know, that this is a "budget hotel", but then don't ask for 130€ for a nihgt, if you don't have conditions for that price. Clean, but anyway... My first and last stay here. Staff OK, breakfast OK.

    Not the easist hotel to find.......Totem Pole sign hidden by foliage and buildings. Room very small, very clean, shower, toilet and wash basin very much utilitarian....only to be expected, it is a budget hotel. Cafeteria very adequate, serving drinks and buffet breakfast. Large free car park with petrol station next door. Budget Price?.....not really. The name descibes it perfectly in everything except price.

    Air condutiining wouldn't turn down below 24 degrees, wundow wouldn't open far enough so room was too hot and airless. Then at 11.00 am the lift was taken out of service for maintenance. Had to carry all our bags and cases from the 2nd floor.

    The only thing preventing a higher rating was the air conditioning in the room. The temperature is fixed at 25 degrees and cannot be changed, along with the window restricted from opening more than a few centimetres. The room was uncomfortably hot.Other than the above comment, location great for the ferry, staff friendly and efficient, room clean.
