Location

The hostel is located 50 metres from Avenida Lehendakari Aguirre, one of Bilbao’s main shopping streets with many shops, restaurants, cafes, banks. The well-connected hostel is located 50 metres from Deusto Metro station, and a bus and taxi stop. Moreover, it lies 200 metres from the University of Deusto, 350 metres from the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, 500 metres from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum and the Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall, so that in a few minutes guests will be able to visit the main museums of the city. It is also less than 1 kilometre to the San Mamés Stadium, while Bilbao Airport is approximately 15 km away.

The hostel has 19 rooms, including single rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff warmly welcomes guests in the lobby. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hostel provides various services and facilities, including a baggage storage service, a safe, a TV room, a laundry service and a fax machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

    The individual room was nice, with a big terrace. However, other guests in the hostel are very loud, probably drunk or high, and the personnel will do nothing to shut them down. The room smelled like vinegar for some reason, and the bed sheets had red stains.

    Pros. Price and location. 4 bed family dorm booked at kady minute did the trick . 10/. 15 min walk to Guggenheim. Cheap cafes/ resturaunts near by . Parking near by .clean . Has kitchen . Cons : no air con/ fan and room overlooked a small and airless courtyard so room was very stuffy . ( prob not an issue iitsude if summer ) room very small. Shower curtain arrangement made it hard not to flood bathroom.

    Stayed one night only - unfortunately very poor value for money and would not recommend. Stayed in a 6 bedroom dorm, very limited space, I was in lower bunk 1F which I would not recommend as it is directly next to the bathroom door. Unable to use assigned locker as no space to open door without compromising personal space of other people. Worst hostel stay over past 10 days - checked out and found cheaper, better hostel elsewhere in Bilbao. Check in host allowed me to stay in common area in advance of formal check in which is only reason this rates a 2, not a 1. Also just one ensuite toilet / shower not adequate for 6 people in the morning, so otherwise have to go downstairs in common area if you need to use bathroom.

    For that amount of money for 4 ppl ,everything was clean and smooth.I ll totally stay here again if i have the chance.The person that was working was very kind and cool and 60 euros for 4 persons was totally lit

    We stayed in a 4-bed room (2 bunks) for 1 night before heading up the mountain to the BBK Bilbao Festival. The staff on reception were friendly and allowed us to store our luggage in the storage room for a few hours before we could check-in. It is close to the centre and there a few local bars in the streets around. There is a chillout lounge area with a kitchen to use if required. The only snag was that the bunk-beds were facing the wall with only the room for a very skinny person to manage to get down on the ladders side, or you could cling to the wall like Spiderman if you had to. Overall: well positioned, friendly, free WiFi, cheap. Gracias!
