    Nice stay overall, but breakfast experience needs improvement

    The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet.However, the desk is too small to be used properly or to work comfortably.The breakfast is varied, but the music is far too loud for 7 a.m.—it unfortunately breaks the overall experience and disrupts the harmony of the place.     Great Location, good facilities, little dated

    we have been recently in the hotel. Check-in was a little too long and noticed every day people standing to check-in or out. Our room was not the greatest and the window could not be locked. I was concerned about. We have got a different and slightly bigger room, with view on the bridge, we appreciated. Room itself and generally the hotel needs some refreshment and care. Feels a little tired. Unfortunately rooftop is not open and lobby is very packed with tables and chairs.

    This was our third stay. Location is perfect. Hotel is modern, comfortable, friendly reception staff, easy check-in online day before.Bedroom was comfortable and great air con, lovely view from our room 510 facing the bridge. Cleaned/serviced every day if you wanted. Towels and bed linen was of high quality, bed was comfortable. Recommend 100%.

    Good location for sight seeing, luckily my husband booked a terrace suite room for our anniversary, not sure what a standard room would be like. The worst pillows we have ever slept on, the hotel did try and accommodate a request for better pillows, we were there 3 nights and didnt have the greatest sleep. 1 very rude waiter in the restaurant. Breakfast not great, or area as tables very limited. Reception staff very pleasant.

    Central location to visit Bilbao and all the nice things it has to offer (old town, plaza nueva, shopping street, Guggenheim). All within walking distance. Rooms are okay, nothing special. Nevertheless, I wouldn't come back because of the staff. We stayed for 4 days and none of them I felt welcome. No one but one male barmember kindly salutes you when you enter reception/bar. I was traveling with a baby and somehow even a kind question to quickly wash out 2 babybottles was 'too much'. In their opinion I should've asked hours later when 'they had the time' (it wasn't even busy). Also, a bar-staff member called Brenda was really rude and not at all worthy of working in a hotel-environment. Please go find yourself a job you actually like so you can smile from time to time. We visit many hotels during the year and never ever did we came across somebody in hospitality-business so cold and unwelcoming. Luckily her male colleague did his absolute best to compensate. Disappointing as staff represents the overall vibe in a hotel. Will not come back.
