Location

This famous city hotel is located in the centre of Bilbao, close to the Plaza Nueva and it's underground station. It's location close to the Arriga Theatre and near the old town is ideal, with many entertainment venues, such as the Guggenheim museum, within easy reach. The airport is roughly 15 km away from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1850. The hotel has 10 suites, 14 single rooms and 40 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a mini fridge. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A shower and a bathtub are included the bathrooms.     Quality rooms, great breakfast and an ideal location. Really handy for exploring the old city and great transport links. Staff efficient and pleasant always willing to help. Rooms were clean and well serviced. Only one negative, the room could have done with tea and coffee facilities.     One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel and I travel extensively. The wooden, floors are extremely noisy. I would not recommend this hotel.     A good hotel in the heart of the Old Town of Casco Viejo. The service and staff were very good. The rooms were comfortable and offered good value for money. Even when I was charged for a service due to an administrative error, it was dealt with promptly and professionally. A lot can be said about a hotel by how it handles issues, and Petit Palace Arana didn’t disappoint. I will be back and thoroughly recommend it.     This hotel is in a perfect location in centralBilbao. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was a good size with a luxury bathroom. The icing on the cake was that the staff arranged for some Cava t be left in the room for my partner’s birthday which was a lovely surprise.Definitely recommend this hotel and will return when we next visit beautiful Bilbao!
