The hotel enjoys an excellent location in the historical centre of Bilbao, between the Arriaga Theatre and the Cathedral of Santiago, a short step away from the financial area.     Nice basic hotel—with a caveat

    Clean, fairly basic hotel in the Old Town. Rooms in the front can be a bit noisy from street noise, those in the back are quiet. Beds are comfortable. No breakfasts but there is an excellent cute little bakery/coffee shop called Charamel just down the street. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Our one complaint was that the “superior deluxe” room we booked looked nothing like the website picture—it was under a garret with skylights but no windows you could see out, and was quite stuffy on a warm October evening. See pic 1. We complained but they couldn’t move us until the next night because they were booked. The room for our second night was very nice and light and quiet and they supplied a fan, which was great. See pic 2.

    Location is in the middle of old town, just a couple of minutes walk to Plaza Nueva where good pintxos bars flock together. The receptionists are friendlyand my bedroom/bathroom were clean. The slight annoyance is squeaky sound on the floor when you step. Other than that, I didn't see any negative point while the tariff was quite reasonable.

    Excellent location in the old town, for public transportation, restaurants, and typical tourist sites.My room was spacious, modern, and well designed for the traveler; the bed comfortable.10 stars for receptionist Michell was so welcoming, warm, and helpful with information.

    Due to Covid didn't even get there, NO REFUND

    Had reservation that had to be cancelled due to Covid. Booking.com and the Hotel were very hard to communicate with and even though the rest of my arrangements were refunded in FULL, Bilbao Jardines Hotel kept the full amount of the stay. Anybody reading this should be aware of this and other Hotels. People might ask why did you pay in full? The website did not make it clear that I was paying in full when I initiated the booking. Shame on Booking.com and the Hotel.

    Lovely room, great staff, clean bedroom and comfy bed. Not a great view from our room but the location is excellent. Could be more expensive rooms have better views however it did not spoil our enjoyment of this hotel.
