184 rooms, including suites, 8 single rooms and 168 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Check in was easy and quick.The room was clean and tidy but the shower kept running hot and cold. To be fair we didn't report this. There were blackout curtains which didn't meet in the middle, so there was a lot of light in the mornings.Breakfast was good but there wasn't an offer for eggs cooked to order.Location is on the outer edge of the city, so you will need to walk around 15 minutes to get into the centre.Parking was charged at €20 per day, so rather pricey SILKEN INDAUTXU, Guest Services / Front Office at Eurostars Indautxu, responded to this review Dear Karen It's great to hear that you found the check-in process easy and quick, and that the cleanliness of the room met your expectations.     This was a decent hotel in Bilbao with a bar and restaurant on site. It was pretty well located to the museum, riverside, and Old Town, but we walked a great distance in the wrong direction (toward the stadium) and were so tired, we did not make it to the Old Town. We ate an overpriced dinner in the hotel, but got lucky with free street parking on the weekend. They have a garage that is about 20 euros a night.     Superb location, you can walk everywhere and there is nice restaurant area in the neighbourhood. Spaceous, tidy and quiet room, which has a hallway and a connecting door so you can't hear the sounds from the hallway. It's nice to have pillows of different sizes available.     Enjoyed our 7 night stay. Lovely hotel with great location. Got the bus from airport to Plaza Moyua- about 10 minutes easy walk to hotel. Not far from the metro which is easy to use and handy to get around if it's a rainy day. Spacious reception and entrance area. Reception staff pleasant and welcoming. We had checked in online before we arrived. Nice bar with outdoor terrace. A good idea was the cabinet in the reception area where you can buy some first aid items and toiletries if needed. Room was nice with small terrace. 2 single beds rather than double we had requested. Good shower over bath. Soap, body lotion and shampoo are wall dispensers. Mini bar, safe and fridge in room. Wardrobe space small but did not bother us. No complementary bottle of water as in most hotels- not a big issue just bought our own. Excellent breakfast. (A bit surprised that they allowed a few who arrived in slippers and pyjamas in). It was very busy a few of the mornings but never a problem getting a table. Staff were very efficient clearing tables and replacing food items- there was no shortage and a great choice. Juices, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, fruit (honeydew and watermelon, oranges, kiwis ), yogurts, breads, pastries, cakes. Hot food included fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages. Plenty restaurants and bars nearby. Would stay again if in Bilbao and have no hesitation recommending it.
