    Second stay at Urban Hotel Loiu, hospitality and warmth guaranteed. Less than a 10 min drive from airport this hotel provides a very good service. Breakfast is ok ,parking lot,good bar. And they will leave a good bottle of Spanish wine as welcome greet. I will keep coming back Jose M M, Director General at Hotel Blu Loiu, responded to this review Le agardecemos su comentario.     Good and near airport....but!

    Booked here because I needed an overnight stay near Bilbao airport.I was pleasantly surprised because it certainly was not an average airport hotel. It has plenty local character. I had an excellent late night snack in the bar, where I joined a crowd of locals watching FC Barcelona on the TV. Breakfast was also good, and my stay was reasonably priced.I had worked out that the hotel was within walking distance of the airport, and although I knew I would have to take a taxi on arrival, I planned to walk in the morning. However, "walking distance" would have been as the crow flies and there is no direct route. Reception staff were clearly taken aback that I could have thought this possible; but were happy to organise a taxi for me. The return taxi cost was about 30 euros.

    This hotel hosts the only cafeteria in the village. Kind staff, clean room, one bus to Bilbao every hour (2hrs on weekend). Taxi to Bilbao is around €15.Planes fly overhead, though not during the night.Reasonable rate.

    Good for late arrival and one night. Easy to find with gps, donn't think easy without. Spacious room, no air condiotioning (warm room or noisy room when you open the window because of landing or departing arplanes)

    Good choice when you fly to or out of Bilbao airport

    The greatest value of the hotel is the location - it is 15 minutes away (if you drive very carefully) from Bilbao airport. Good option both when you arrive late and when you need to be there be there early in the morning. If you want to do some sightseeing in Bilbao you can find a room in the city at the same price so it is not a reasonable option. The hotel is located in the middle of what once probably was a Basque village and now is Bilbao's satellite town (it rained so bad that we skipped sightseeing). The rooms are nice and clean, not too big but it seemed that they had mostly short stays in mind. I can't comment on the restaurant as it was closed on the day we arrived but they directed us to another place nearby. I appreciated freshly made scrambled eggs (you need to ask!) for breakfast, however.The parking is quite small (5 or 6 cars) and it is not easy to find a place nearby when you arrive too late - all the neighbours work in Bilbao and they commute by cars apparently.
