    Disappointed, wouldn't recommend to stay at this hotel.

    Room is dirty. A lot of spots on wall and decorative frams. Window is not clean. Furniture is outdated and requires maintanence. Many things and services are mussed from 4 stats hotel level, may be 2.5 is a right raiting. Breakfast is very poor. It looks that food stays in breakfast room from priviose day. The food selection limitted, very different from the advertizing photos. No coffee or tee in room or any othe wellcome to guestes items. The restourant doesn't work. Stuff is not friendly.

    Four stars, on what planet?!

    This is not a four star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It does not meet the criteria in any capacity. This star rating is extremely misleading. Do not be fooled by the facade. It might look nice on the outside but inside it is a very run down old hotel with dirty furniture scattered throughout and filthy carpets and rugs. The walls and floor are also badly marked. The rooms are very basic. Furnishings in the rooms are very old and worn. The walls are so thin we could clearly hear conversations in other rooms. Our room was were right beside a train station that had very loud trains running late at night and very early in the morning. There is no restaurant open from November to April which is very inconvenient ( but this was a blessing in disguise because I would not want to eat in it). We stayed here out of necessity because we were on our way to Bilbao ferry terminal nearby.I would not recommend to anyone expecting a four star hotel. But if you want grubby, smelly and basic go for it! I attach a few photos to reflect the reality of this hotel.

    Stayed here for a night before catching an early morning ferry. First room assigned to us was extremely damp so had to request room change. Guy at reception was very apologetic and we were moved. There was an outdoor event on that night at rear of hotel that didn’t end until 3.30am. Music blaring etc. I totally understand that this was not the fault of the hotel but when I mentioned it to the lady at the desk the following morning that it was impossible to have slept in the room she was very abrupt and told me that an email had been sent to all clients to advise of this (I definitely didn’t receive any email). The noise from the event was unbelievable at such a late hour and I most definitely would have cancelled my booking if I’d been told in advance. It was almost 4am before loudspeakers were turned off. Definitely will not stay again. Sorry. Other than that hotel location for ferry was good

    Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Hallways stank of cat pee, room was musty, they gave me a double even though we asked for a twin and had it confirmed three times before we arrived. Train outside is a joke - literally the loudest thing you’ve heard and right against the windows. Total dive

    Check in was swift & friendly.It`s a detached building, not too far away from the centre of Bilbao.Don`t expect many bars & restaurants at close walking distance, as it is slightly further away from that area.The room was decent, and breakfast was enjoyable.
