We wanted to like this hotel, it's location is perfect to explore Zaragoza, but there is a major design flaw in the rooms that ruined our much anticipated romantic weekend away: the rooms have multiple air conditioning vents around the room, BUT.. one of them is directly over the bed at your head. All night long the cold air blew down on us, impossible to turn off, and we woke up with sore throats and chest colds. Our whole weekend is now being spent sick and we're very unhappy with this stay! Further, the showers had no shelf or place to put soap so they place the bottle of shower gel on the floor: very unhygienic and kind of gross.

    Not four star, but fine

    rating01 Nov 2024

I stayed here for one night just before Pilar, which is a huge, citywide festival that lasts for almost two weeks and causes every place in town to be full. I paid 95 Euros for a room with a bathtub and a view of the church across the street. The room is a little on the small side. There was a place to sit and a desk. The window was so high that I had to stand up to see the nice view outside. The room does not come with any extras. There is no tea kettle, no robe, no small shampoo bottles or little packets of soap. There was enough hot water to take a bath, which was nice. It's also centrally located. I was on the 8th floor and I could hear a little street noise, but it was not too bad at night. The room was a little outdated. For example, there were chips in the dresser. Also, and this is important, the AC barely worked. It took all day and into the night before it cooled down at all. The room smelled a little bit when I walked in. Maybe it used to be a smoking room? or there is mold from the AC not working and the windows not opening/no fresh air? Anyway, it smelled musty to me and I would not have wanted to stay more than one day. Overall, I would not recommend it, because I thought it was just OK and for the price point, there are other options. But, it's also fine. There is a Starbucks just outside (not reachable through the lobby cause they lock that door) and a great view from the rooftop unheated and freezing cold pool. You could do worse, but you could also find better in this small city.

    Disappointing.

    rating31 Oct 2024

Quite disappointed. Would query the 4* rating. Believe 3* more accurate. Two-night stay. Asked to change rooms as first was rather dingy, as is the hotel generally. However, the bathrooms are good. No tea/coffee making facilities. Rather basic and needing updating. Quite noisy from road outside. Aircon not working, but unable to contact reception as no number supplied. Bad smell in bathroom which was dealt with when we complained. We found it impossible to use tv. We did not eat in hotel so unable to comment. When left hotel. we stayed in a 4* hotel in Tereul and the comparison was very marked.

    Very good hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at this nice comfortable hotel. Smart spacious room and nice bathroom and all very clean. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine. Great central location within easy walking distance of all the sights and good restaurants.

    Good location that’s it

    rating04 Sept 2024

This hotel is in a good location but it seems that the owners spend more money on branding the towels than paying good rages for mature experience staff who are not on their phones and care about customer service. They also seem to not spend money on electricity as the halls and rooms are dark. We didn’t try the restaurant as it also seemed darkish. There are better hotels to choose but for one night it did the trick
