    This time was disappointing.

    rating20 Oct 2018

It's been a while since we dreamed with returning to this place, which is always in our road path of vacacions. We love the Aquatherm, which is a thermal circuit, very beautifully decorated. This time we only came for this, 34€ per person for 45 minutes of not-so-hot water. Our deception was that many of the jets were broken so you cannot use'em.We were not told this in advance. I payed for a service that half of it didn't worked.I would also recommend putting at least a bench or something in the shower space, because there is no place to put your clean clothes after you shower and a bathing suits dryer.Nevertheless, the recepcionist has returned us 20€, which was a kind gesture. Please solve the problems so we can return and profit this beautiful space.

Formerly beautiful now a rotting mess

    rating06 Apr 2018

If you’d like to overpay for accommodations, sleep amongst rotting wood and mold infested walls, and be ripped off by the staff, this is definitely the place for you. This place nickel and dimes you and is more like a Ryanair flight then a nice spa hotel. I will never be coming back and will make sure I share my experience far and wide. Save your money and stay anywhere else.

    Free thermal spa!

    rating04 Apr 2018

Found out about the thermal springs by accident whilst researching things to visit in Alhama de Granada.Had some really helpful information from a woman in Granada Tourist Information Office which was very useful. So, the Hotel is/was closed, but she told us just to arrive at the gate, and if it was closed simply to climb around it. The gate was open so we could walk down to the bridge and then down to the 2 thermal pools which we did.We then had a lovely time sitting in 30c+ water in bright sunshine next to the river, and all for FREE!If you’re in the area, it’s well worth a visit 👌🏻👌🏻.

    "A must do"

    rating16 Oct 2017

We found out about this place 3 or 4 years ago, travellin through Spain. I finally came today. I bought a gift pack of 50€, 1 day 2 people included, which gives you free access all day to the Lake and 50mn of Aquatherm (the thermal circuit spa). I love it! The lake is very beautiful, but i thought i would feel more warm, still to be able to swim in a place like this is worth it. I didnt like that the gardner was working, too much noise, not his fault, but bad timming. Then i chose the thermal circuit for 18h, to have a more realistic experience and because its warmer at dark. I loved the aquatherm, its super relaxing and romantic, beautifully decorated. For lunch, we went to the village to get to know it and then a nice stroll. It was definately worth it, and for the price we will definately come back, since its part of our annual spanish route. The staff was also kind. Thanks for a wonderful day!

    Natural thermal lake worth visiting

    rating22 Aug 2017

There is one thing about this spa which makes it unique in all of Spain and nearly all of Europe, it has its own natural thermal lake, with water at 32º C. So you can either stay at the spa or just visit the lake as a day trip. There are 3 different hotels, each with its’ own category (3, 4 and 5 stars), so beware when booking. We stayed at the 4 star which is was perfect. The gardens surrounding the hotels and lake are quite beautiful, and if you can always escape to the nearby town of Alhama de Aragón (within walking distance) for a change. Apart of the 50 minute water circuit which I absolutely recommend, we were treated to a full body massage which was ok. As most Spanish spas there is always a mix of decadent 19th century charm with modern installations which is always fun! We are happy to read that you enjoyed your stay. We send you a greeting and we would love to see you again.
