This resort is situated on the broad beach of Bentota, one of the most expansive sand beaches in Asia. Bentota is a much-loved family resort on Sri Lanka's popular south-west coast. It lies around 2.5 hours south of Colombo and 96 km from Bandaranaike International Airport.

The resort has a lift and features 90 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Read this review before booking - it is totally honest.

I have been reading some recent reviews of this hotel and I am find theminteresting because my experience was quite different.We were there at the end of our two week Sri Lankan tour the end of May when occupancy was very quiet. We thought this stay would be a highlight - it wasn’t!! Service was incredibly slow, if we were served at all. The buffet food for breakfast was very good but otherwise we ended up eating at a hotel next door because the quality and service were both poor. There were basic items missing from the room that we had to ask for - there are far better options on this amazing country I would not recommend this hotel at all. Service was
