The room, the view of the Ocean, food and service all were top notch. Staff was very accommodating. Love the rice and curry options. Will be back again a for sure.

The ocean was a huge attraction

The rooms had a fantastic ocean view. The room itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a pool and access to the beach. The food at the restaurant was fine, but quite expensive and geared more towards the Western palate. There was an excellent selection of fruit thout.

We stayed here for 2 nights, half board, at the end of a tour of Sri Lanka, to wind down and have a couple of time out days, before returning home. Don’t be fooled by the busy road,where you enter the property, once you are in it’s a tropical oasis,beautiful hotel,pool and rooms, right on the beach. Super clean and had all the amenities expected of a luxe hotel. We had a lovely Sri Lankan welcome of ice cold cloth and lovely lemon grass iced tea. The hotel did not have many customers, sometimes we had the place to ourselves, this only added to the peaceful environment we wanted. There were many attentive staff, to make our stay more comfortable.Most of the staff had a perfect balance of offering great service when needed, with periods of just leaving us alone to enjoy our pool or meal/drinks, in a peaceful environment. Supervisor-Kasuntha, Trainee-Pasindu, Supan, Akalanka, thank you for the quiet, considerate service. Mudalige, food and beverage manager deserves a mention as every meal, snack and drink was literally perfect, fresh and made to a very high standard.We met Wasantha a couple of times following our evening meals, he is a quiet food genius, who could teach some UK chefs a thing or two about fabulous food, thank you Wasantha.Our room was kept squeaky clean by Tharinda,Thariz and Saman, who ensured we had a clean and comfortable room at all times.Constructive feedback: While we understand that it’s difficult to please all customers,being overly attentive,makes relaxing more difficult for some customers.
