The hotel is situated at the very heart of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle and in close proximity to world-famous archaeological sites, in a village in the Anuradhapura district. It is around 176 km from the capital of Colombo, and is close to the picturesque Habarana Lake as well as many sites of historical and cultural significance.

The resort has a lift and features 94 rooms and 2 suites. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions.     We had a wonderful one-night stay at Habarana Village by Cinnamon and truly enjoyed every moment. The calm and beautiful surroundings, especially the peaceful lake and lovely gardens, created the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind.The dinner and breakfast buffets offered an excellent variety of delicious dishes, with plenty of choices for everyone.A special mention goes to Mr. Sanath Karunarathna, Assistant Manager – Housekeeping, for his great commitment, attention to detail, and dedication to making our stay comfortable. We also greatly appreciated the kindness, pleasantness, and warm hospitality of all the staff, who made us feel genuinely welcome.Overall, it was a lovely and memorable experience.     A Peaceful Getaway to Remember

    It was a sudden plan and a last minute booking, but somehow it turned out to be the best thing that happened that day.Kingfisher Lodge is definitely one of the most memorable places we have stayed. I think what I loved the most was how isolated and peaceful it felt. Being close to Habarana Lake, it was windy, quiet and full of wildlife. I even managed to get three different species of kingfishers on frame, so I guess there is no better name for this place than Kingfisher Lodge.The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The verandah had plenty of space too, and the view from there was probably my favourite part. You can just sit there, enjoy the wind and watch what is happening around you.Food was excellent. There wasn’t a huge variety, but honestly, we didn’t need it. Everything we had was really good. Quality over quantity.The staff also deserve a special mention. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They kept checking on us at the restaurant to make sure we had everything we needed, and it was the same whenever we came across them around the property. They were always approachable, attentive and happy to help, but never in a way that felt intrusive. That kind of hospitality definitely added to the whole experience and made the stay even more enjoyable.What started as a random last minute plan ended up being a stay we will remember for a long time. Habarana Village by Cinnamon is a place I would definitely come back to.     Excellent family base for Sigirya , Dambulla and cultural triangle exploration

    We stayed here 2 nights for us to explore dambulla and sigiriya.The location is perfect for both.The team at cinnamon made us feel quite at home.The rooms were quite good and has a real village charm to them. They were clean and regularly serviced.The highlight is the nature spots withjlin the ground that the kids enjoyed exploring. The onsite spa offers excellent recovery options for tired parents????The food was amazing Deshan and his team(Indunil, Milan and so many more,) were truly exceptionalWe will definitely stay again.     Had a great stay at Habarana Village by Cinnamon today. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I loved the eco-friendly design and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. Special thanks to Wasana for the excellent service during dinner and Sahan for explaining the beverage menu and giving us helpful tips about visiting Sigiriya early in the morning.
