Location

This hotel lies on the golden sands of Mahawaskaduwa, a cosy fishing village in the city of Kalutara with religious significance. It is located just 39 km south of Colombo and 73 km from the international airport.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival.     Beautiful place to stay on your vacancy - directly at the beachside and not far from the ancient city of Kalutara which is a cultural highlight to visit.Staff is really very friendly, always caring and helpful with whatever request - food and rooms just wonderful and not to forget the great gym.Last but not least I have to recommend the Ayurvedic spa with the great Ayurvedic massage therapists - especially Mr. Anushka Fernando. He was already recommended to me by a friend.He did a great job on my shoulders and back problems.It would be such a gift to have a therapist like that nearby!

    Amazing hotel, amazing staff, amazing chef and food. Pool attendants very friendly. Rooms are very comfortable and cool. Everyone so welcoming and happy to see us return for the second time. In two years I have had my birthday here also.Thank you Ishani and the whole team at Mermaid Hotel ❤️
