The hotel is located right next to Koggala beach near the Sri Lankan port of Galle, which is home to the UNESCO world heritage listed Dutch Fort and the Dutch Reform Church. Koggala is a small beach village with its own cultural centre in the form of the fascinating Museum of Folk, Art and Culture. Guests may enjoy taking a boat trip on the lagoon and Kogggala Lake to see the surrounding small islands, famous for their fantastic bird watching. Its proximity to the picturesque Lake Koggala means that guests have the opportunity of coming to the hotel by seaplane, which is a truly impressive experience. The hotel is located some 140 kilometres from Colombo International Airport (CMB). The train station is some 10 km away.

The resort has a lift and features 49 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry, a hotel doctor and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a TV, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

There are indoor and outdoor pools and a children's swimming area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, golf and fishing are available. Water sports available at the resort include windsurfing, catamaraning, snorkelling, diving and aquafit. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, badminton, billiards, yoga and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and Ayurveda treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A continental breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    We’ve had such a lovely time here and made so many beautiful memories with my two boys and my mom. It’s been such a special experience for all of us.The staff have been absolutely amazing and so friendly and attentive. My boys especially loved the pool and the beautiful view. One of our favourite moments was sitting in the pool and watching the sunset together — it was just beautiful.The pool attendant Laksiri was amazing with the kids. He took the time to show them the turtles and even took them down to the beach, which they absolutely loved. Those little moments really made the stay extra special for us.We also had the private chef experience with Chef Taraka, which was fantastic. Taraka was amazing, and the food and the whole experience were wonderful.Dimuthu, Irosh and Hirun were also so attentive throughout our stay and always made sure we had everything we needed and were having the best time possible.Overall, we’ve had such a wonderful experience and are leaving with so many happy memories. A big thank you to the whole team for making our family holiday so special. We’ll definitely remember this place for a long time and we will be back ??
