Facility

Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, a transfer service, 24-hour room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. Complimentary newspapers are available. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. In most units, guests can enjoy a partial sea view from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the resort offers beach volleyball. Water sports enthusiasts are offered water aerobics. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, table tennis and darts. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, massage treatments and Ayurveda treatments. An entertainment programme and live music round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. A variety of catering options can be booked. Guests can choose between half board, full board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.     We recently went on our staff trip and I should say the stay was wonderful. What I loved most is the view of the sea and the location of the pool.     We recently had our corporate team outing at Suriya Resort, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.     We had a lovely stay at Suriya Resort on 13th and 14th April. This was actually my first visit to the property, as I usually stay at Club Hotel Dolphin when travelling to Waikkala, so it was a nice change for me.I must say the overall experience was excellent. The resort has a very pleasant atmosphere, the staff were warm, attentive and welcoming throughout the stay, and the food was genuinely very good.We tried both the buffet and the in-room dining, and both were very enjoyable. The food was tasty, well prepared and the quality was consistently good.It was a short stay, but a very pleasant one, and honestly one night was not enough. I would be very happy to return again.Thank you to the team at Suriya Resort for making the stay such an enjoyable one.     Suriya Hotel and Le Lily Spa

    The Suriya is a beautiful hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. The pool and grounds are beautiful, with direct view of the sea. On this occasion I made use of the spa facilities, Le Lily Spa where I was welcomed by Niranjan. Who gave me a relaxing Balinese massage. The professionalism and relaxation experienced had me returning for a second massage. The room is comfortable and the oils used help to create an ambience. Niranjan worked very hard to ensure I felt completely relaxed and that I was comfortable. Following the massage, I was invited to relax for a few more moments before being greeted with a cup of cinnamon and lime tea. The Suriya is a beautiful hotel, and the spa facilities and staff within it add to the luxury.     Beautiful Sri Lanka

    We stayed in a suite at the hotel for 10 days and couldn’t have asked for more from the holiday. The suites are large. Clean and well maintained, and we had an amazing view of the sea and sunset from the balcony. The staff were friendly, chatty and very accommodating. They did everything they could to make our stay memorable. The food was fantastic. The pool is clean, yes there are crows, dogs and a cat, but the pool and surrounding areas are kept very clean, they didn’t bother us at all. There is lovely birdsong throughout the day and the three dogs weren’t interested in people, they just sat in the shade and roamed around a bit, in fact they were quite sweet. The general manger was readily available and the spa was luxurious (Balinese massage…amazing!) too.
